O.K. But confusing

This program does let me keep a nice diary of things on-line without wasting a lot of time...provided everything is set up correctly. However, if you make one error...oops... you’re suddenly tracking things on the wrong day. Or you are tracking numerous separate versions of the same day. This is confusing, and the software company is not much help in advising how to get it right. Nevertheless, I do like the one option they have where you can automatically enter the current time. Also it is good you can directly enter photos (of what I am eating for example). Not all the other programs have this.

Back when this app was new (2010 or earlier), I paid $9.99 for it & that was a one time payment to have full use of the app without ads. I used it for 7 or 8 months & deleted it when I when I upgraded to a new phone. I haven’t used it in years. Recently I started the keto diet & thought this app might help me keep track of my carbs. Was I ever surprised that they’ve added a mandatory subscription of $9.99 per month just to use the app. How is it possible that you purchase something outright (expensive back then for a app) & then years later be told you can’t use it unless you pay a fee every month????? I feel ripped off!

Latest update: Have been using Lumen Trails for many years now. Must say this app saves me in tracking my bills! I have devised a simple listing system to track the bills I have paid each month. Once the bill is paid I slide the listing into an entry titled “Post next month”. Then when next month comes I change the current month’s title say from “June” to “July” and slide the items back up. I also use the icons available on my phone to indicate they have not been paid yet or symbolize other things, say large red dot, etc. i can also click open the entry to make notes such as how much I paid each month etc. it’s actually very very simple but SOOO effective in helping to ensure I do not forget to pay bills. I do not have to use accounting software and typical “planner” apps which all actually can be annoying to use. Again THANK YOU Lumen Trails! ———- UPDATE: I'm changing my rating to 5 stars. Recently wrote review below, but I noticed today ads are gone (possibly because I am previous user) and seems to be syncing again. THANK YOU Lumen Trails for listening. ------- Yes like everyone else is saying, App USED TO BE GOOD. Now forget it after upgrade. Not syncing with my iPad and there are glitches with use on iPhone. (If this does not want to sync between devices it is useless to me.) Also agree with other user it is an insult what they are asking for subscription. $1.99 a month when you can get MS office on multiple devices as well as Adobe Creative Cloud for $9.99 each. This app in no way comes close to the advanced features they offer. I don't know what you were thinking at LumenTrails. You are about to lose everything you worked for in this app if you don't get a grip on things. If these issues are not resolved soon I will stop using this app and from the honest unlikely you will have many new users. Used to be a great app.

If you have anything to track (and who doesn't) this is the go to app to use. Track anything in a format that works best for you and always have the information with you. EXCELLENT. One of my oldest and most used programs for diary notes. I purchased the program before they want to charge a monthly fee. I have not seen much in way of improvements. There are. Ow other note apps that I like better than this. With great reluctance I must say goodbye to my old friend. There are too many other great programs that don’t charge a monthly fee. I am sad to see you go.

Update 7/202018: Lacking several options that would be nice. Different colored backgrounds instead of off white, optional tags, etc. The tracker is good and I use it everyday. It's kind of plain thought. For a yearly fee of $10, their should be a lot more options available. After seeing what "Vantage" calendar has in their options for a one time fee of $10, Daily Tracker needs to keep improving to keep people using the app. UPDATE 4/21/18. Still no extra options for different kinds of backgrounds and the app keeps wanting me to rate it in the App Store. I've already paid my $10. Quit asking to rate!. Lost 1 Star

This app does EVERYTHING! You have to take the time to learn everything it offers. It’s unbelievable. You can record anything, take pictures, and so much more. Strongly suggest. I’ve NEVER had any kind of glitch. Take the time to play around with it, you won’t be sorry. To top it off it’s FREE!

So far it’s great. I am already using this more than all organizational apps I have tried combined. This might finally be the app that can compete with my bullet journal. Have not had to use pencil and paper since getting this app. Love how it’s versatile without being overly structured. I didn’t like that a picture automatically came up with each daily journal, but it only took me a minute to figure out how to eliminate that feature. Very user friendly and easy learning curve.
