Email feature stopped working

All of a sudden, I can’t email my notes. It opens, but the send button is grayed out. I email my notes daily and would love to see it fixed. The app support link on the app page says the support page no longer exist. Help!

I don’t know why note taking apps are so difficult to perfect but I have been searching for a long time to find a good one. A planner is not really what I am looking for but I have used this one a long time ago as a dream diary. Once I upgraded phones or ran out of room, I deleted it. Somehow it showed up on my phone again and I was surprised it was still working. Most app developers abandon their apps searching for new money makers. For someone wanting to keep their logs this is disastrous. I decided to give it a go and was excited to see an attractive user interface. It was somewhat complicated to find past notes but I had faith that I would find and get use to interface. The more I explored, I found the abilities rich with possibilities. Tabs, Tags (big fan), Sketch creator (OMG), tasks, audio, photo and documents! Then being able to sync with my phone. Looking forward to putting this on my all time favorite apps.

Crashing in iOS 12.2

I’ve used this app for several years and found it useful because of folder management and journaling life. When I updated my iPad Air 2 with 12.2 I am no longer able to get into the App. Once the App launches I see the interface for about 3 seconds before it crashes. Sadly I have no way to determine if my most current data has synced to Dropbox or iCloud. I have to see if I can get the data off the device through iTunes. I tried closing all Apps that were running and restart the iPad, but that didn’t work. I believe it is an issue with synching. While I enjoyed taking notes in this app, this experience has left me to review where I should be storing my thoughts and it might be better within a direct connection of documents in a cloud service.

Good app but can be better

I love everything about it, but I feel like some added features could take it over the top. Like, giving the app permission to my contacts so you can someone’s contact information in your note. Also, it would great if you could use handwritten notes vs keyboard only.

I have one major problem. When I do a search and need to go back multiple events, the search keeps bouncing back to most current event. Eg.I track migraines on here. When I need to go back to write them down on paper, as soon as I take my finger off the screen, it bounces back to most current occurrence, so I have to keep going back to find where I was at. It’s very frustrating. Please fix this glitch! I really like this app. Like the tabs, the ability to change colors of text and backgrounds. I keep a daily journal and a medical journal using this app.

I have had this app for several years. Once IOS 12 hit I have had numerous problems. I have emailed tech support and get the run around. I have one notes that has duplicated itself over 500 times and you go to delete it one by one might I add b/c apparently you don’t have a way to delete multiple notes according to the tech department for the app. You type and the screen just freezes. Screens stick in between your tabs. Updates on App Store do not help these issues. Please fix this I really don’t want to go back to the “notes app” that comes with the iPhone. It’s an ok app don’t get me wrong but it’s not as nice as “daily notes” app E

***** Updated review***** i have used this Daily Notes app over 8 years on/off. I recently came back to this system as it works the best for me with ease and functionality. I was concerned i would not be able to retrieve my previous notes. I was thankfully wrong!!! I have been able to sync everything from the previous years on both my ipad and iPhone. Thankyou so much DN for this great app. I have downloaded many of the productivity apps since I got my IPad. I always come back to this one because of it's simplistic interface yet great functionality. I use it most for a daily journal in my personal and business life. The search function is great. What I would like to see is an app for the ITouch and IPhone so I can sync all the info together. ****update notes... Love the new Dropbox backup feature as well as the additional colors and fonts You have a great app, now just make it awesome

Won’t open, keeps crashing

Need help solving why it crashes so much and will not open until many times trying to open up.

Daily notes does a lot of things but there are so many apps like this. What Wood said he’s a pirate would be here and riding with Apple Pencil. Without that it’s just another task, list making app.
