Great App

Kayjay226

My husband and I just started using the app. Really like it. Since I am a visual person I like seeing the reports etc. The only drawback is it is not easy to look up foods. Once the foods are added to your "favorites" it is easier to find.

Great help

RN DM

This app has been a great help to me as a newly diagnosed diabetic to plan meals and eat out.

Good App

Getting used to the app but very good experience so far

Total waste of time

The figures on the foods listed in the data base are rife with errors. Supposedly you can edit the information. It shows an edit key and then a save option. After saving when you go to the next option to add it to your food logs it reverts to the incorrect numbers. If you are trying to keep track of your carbs, you cannot unless you make a custom entry of everything you eat. This app is cumbersome, counter intuitive, and just plain useless. You cannot trust the data. BTW, I'm a retired IBM pc programmer and am more than a little computer literate.

I absolutely love this app. I am new to diabetes and this has helped me adjust so much!

App so so

I was used to the Atkins app with the scan bar. It took me awhile to get used to this app. When I search a lot of times it doesn't have what I'm searching for I just get a blank page. Atkins redid there app and I lost all my stuff that really made me mad, oh well. I'm not 100% happy with this app but I'm getting more used to it everyday.

It's great, but needs to sync across devices

Using this to track my husband's carbs (diabetes)... I'm building my recipes and that's awesome for helping determine carbs in recipes (groups of ingredients) Editing info is fairly easy as well But there are some definite options missing (even when ALL options are purchased) 1. This NEEDS a login so you can synch across devices 2. It'd be GREAT if you could 'buddy up'. I'd like to track my progresses along with my husband, but the thought of entering all my recipes on my iPad to track myself - no bueno

Easy to use

Takes out all the guess work if you are into low-carb diets. I highly recommend it.

Search is cumbersome

Like the app and the logs. Just hard to find foods. Have to tap through multiple screens to find something simple as an egg or tomato.

LOVE THIS APP BUT...

I would so love to see a couple of improvements. 1) I would love to have the ability to scan my food item and have it save to my "log" and to my "custom foods" category. 2) The ability to plan my meals ahead using my choice of headings Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner and AM Snack, PM Snack. Otherwise this app is beautifully simple and easy to use.
