The support team is the BEST!!

Muncher51

The Cyclemeter app is the BEST app that I have ever purchased. It works amazingly well and accurately. Whenever I have a question about something in the app, I send them an email and I get a VERY prompt reply; always by the very next day, but usually within hours or even sometimes minutes! The gps is so accurate that if I stop to throw a stick off of the trail, it records that I stopped. If I stop to change a flat tire, the gps tracks my movements as I move around the bike because my iPhone is in my jersey pocket. I have never been so satisfied with a product or with the customer service of a company, as I am with Cyclemeter. Roger

Almost great

TravisB.

This app almost does it all. The killer feature for me was being able to use my Apple Watch as my HR monitor while cycling. I’m shocked other apps don’t provide this. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is not being able to adjust the font size for all my pages. On my main page I want a couple of metrics big so I can glance down and see them similar to how Strava and Bike Computer display, however it seems I am limited to only changing the color.

Great app

This is a fantastic app. I would like it if you would add a complication for the apple watch.

App is ok, expensive

StylesC45

That app itself is ok, I like all the options and charts but it might be a little advanced for your average cyclist. $10 a year is too expensive for me to continue to use the app, I live in Michigan so I can only cycle a few months a year..I realize this won’t affect everyone but for me $10 is too expensive for just a few months of use when there are other options for free that have the same features. I’d gladly pay a one time fee of $10 to buy the app.

Best of the best

Cyrano2go

Gives the info I need and so much more. Flawlessly pairs with speed/cadence, heart rate and BadElf external GPS. Updates regularly in background.

My Favorite Cycling App

No_gluten

It’s been a year using with my Apple Watch Series 2, and my Trek Bluetooth speed sensor, on the iPhone 7. Works flawlessly about 90% of the time, sometimes the watch app struggles to connect and show the heart rate when it 1st starts, but eventually connects. I am early riser so I go out early for a ride, 5:30-6 AM, so when I return home, my wife’s gone to work. That’s why I love the email feature, it lets her know I returned safely. If she doesn’t receive the email notification, she will call....

Purchased one time price now gone

Maricat823

I bought this a few years ago for a one time $10 price. They took away all those features (I only found this out after an update that changed everything). Now it is subscription based $10/yr. I should have been given this option. I also went for a hike this weekend. My boyfriend’s garmin recorded 1:34 mins. Mine showed 1:05. Almost 30 minutes off... that is unacceptable. I didn’t pay the $10 again.

Good app but bugs and lacking features.

There are 1,001 reasons to use this app, and it really is good. I just want to point out a few issues and requests. 1. lately when I open the app on my watch, it shows no connection to the phone, even if the app is running on the phone. Only fix I know of is to uninstall and reinstall app which is not really a solution. For diagnostic purposes I’m using an iPhone X and Apple Watch S4 LTE. 2. It does not work in standalone mode on LTE Apple Watches like some other apps, and needs the phone in range. This defeats the purpose of the LTE watch since I can’t bike with just my watch if I want to use Cyclemeter. 3. Feature request - can we have a way to show team members on the map? I’m part of a 6-person team and would really love to be able to see each other on the map as people can get lost in races and you don’t always know if they are just ahead or trailing behind. This feature would be amazing. Overall thanks for making a great app. Cyclemeter has been my go-to cycling app for years.

Cycling app with running plans

tontobikermd

There’s no cycling plans. Purchasing from training peaks or strava or another site can be done like TROAD but there’s no importing. Creating individual workouts on the daily has been a complete failure and hassle. To top it off, the app still turns off even if in the advanced I’ve asked it to stay on for 2 hours. Contacted support and she said told me where to enable it. wrote back, I know, still doesn’t work?. Still waiting for a response.

Great cycling app!! Highly recommend!

Love this app! Been using on all my road bike outings for almost 20 months /~7000 miles. Incredible range of functionality. Great customer service - don’t hesitate to contact if any issues; you’ll get quick, thorough response. Very easy to create / customize multiple screens, including home screen” for data you want visible while riding. Can prevent from sleeping. Easy to create / customize bar & pie charts for past ride data. Great map functionality. Easy to quickly find past rides in multiple ways (history menu, calendar, etc.) More I use / play around with, more cool features i find... Easy to import / export data files. Backs up easily to iCloud. Given how happy i am with app, don’t mind at all annual $9.99 fee for all functionality; seems like “fair” price. Only thing on my wish list - ability to upload some ride photos... A second review - in my third year of using this app and absolutely love it. Developers are very responsive. The features are amazing. I keep discovering new things, either by periodically re-reading the Help section, playing around with menus, or asking questions to the developers about something I did not think app could do but turns out it can (the Help section is good but definitely does not fully illuminate everything about the app...). I recommend this app to anyone asking for advice on best way to track their rides - friends where I live, people in cycling forums I visit regularly, etc One feature worth highlighting - you can set app to send periodic updates during ride at customized intervals (such as distance ridden, time, start and finish of ride) to one or more people with customized info (avg speed, ascent, etc) - and a link to an online map that shows where you are. Among other things, live online map is good safety feature so someone will know where you are if you break down
