What Google+ has going for it is its simple design, fast loading, and fewer ads than Facebook. I like how it's easy to join various communities (although most of those communities are useless and could have been formed by cats), and how it merges nicely with already existing Google accounts. However, it's not as "connected" to other members as Facebook is and suffers from a lack of practicality with features such as "trending" and even news reports.

Hey, remember all those fun times Google shoved this platform down our throats on Youtube? Fun times.

This app is worthless for moderating communities on Google Plus. I can't see posts marked as spam and in order to approve members requesting to join, I have to click view on web to do it. I just bookmarked my Google Plus home screen on Safari and just moderate the communities through there. I only use the app for my second account so I can switch between the two easily.

After you find communities that you like or have something in common with, or create your own and show others what you feel and see.

When someone has 100 followers, they get no likes. When someone gets 1,000 followers, they get 10 likes. I literally have 20k followers and I get 90+... And that seems shocking. Also, whenever I try downloading pictures, it would repeat downloading the same picture. The app is buggy too. And return the classic G+!

Updated 2016 Sept: The "share" button is semi-fixed. Yes it works, but when you are done sharing, you are taken back to the top of your feed, not where you left off. So I consider it still broken, but I grant one more star for the effort -- 3 stars total. Come on Google, you can do so much better! Google Plus is a much easier social media platform, and more enjoyable, than Facebook. It's kind of like a news feed with friends. It's underrated and well worth your attention. Much easier to control who sees what. My only complaint is that I can't save pics and sometimes the iPad app arrows don't work...If they fixed that, we'd be up to five stars!
