For documentary lovers this app has some cool content, I don’t care that I can probably find it elsewhere, I like that it’s all here in one place. The user experience used to be poor, but it’s consistently improved with every update and is really good now. I originally got the app because I like to fall asleep listening to documentaries, but for this purpose I ended up with a $5 monthly PBS subscription, they have the most soothing documentary voices to fall asleep to! (With Curiosity Stream it’s hit or miss finding something without loud parts that will wake you up, with PBS you’re guaranteed a good snooze!)

I’ve already watched three shows, I absolutely love science and technology and it’s absolutely on the mark with what I’ve read from other theoretical physicist such as Brian Greene & Michuro Kaku ???????

Tried to use the app for the first time in forever, and it simply crashes about 15 seconds into the video I want watch

Their website and apps are so full of bugs that they are nearly impossible to use. For example, the Google Chromecast doesn’t work, and when I try to switch to AirPlay, that changes videos every 5 second with no way to stop it. I’m not sure if you have a million monkeys banging on typewriters and the first one that looks like code, you use that, but it can’t get much worse than this. I’ve had a membership for a couple of years now and all platforms are so full of bugs, that I recommend you guys consider burning them down and starting over. Or, add more monkeys with more typewriters.

I have never taken the time to write a review. I am now. The app crashes all the time. And it does not track my viewing history. I get so frustrated I just go watch docs on other streaming services. Please fix - been like this for 2+ years.

The app is so, so. Sometimes has trouble loading and doesn’t have the robust interface that other big name services have. Best way to describe it is hollow or fragile. That being said its worth every bit of trouble and patience. This is the best and most comprehensive quality documentary streaming service I’ve ever seen. Use it daily and worth every penny!

Extremely interesting programming that you just don’t see much of anywhere else. All ‘fact’ based ! That’s important to me in this day of tainted, leaning content.

I love the fact that I can have it open in a small window on my phone and do other things I wish YouTube could do this. Worth the cost. I am writing while viewing in a movable window on my iPhone. Great content great app.

I bought it recently for seeing documentaries with yearly subscription but it does not allow without buying another more expensive streaming program. I have asked Apple Pay to return my money
