Several different series of themed puzzles burns it into your brain. Smaller 5x5 boards pop-up with the idea broken down when you struggle. However, you should only purchase the app if you like winning.

Using this app is hard (but enjoyable) work. The app performs flawlessly - teaching hundreds of challenging tactical problems. But getting better at Chess, a worthy goal, requires hours of hard work using tools like this. IOW a wonderfully designed tool.

I just got this recently. I like it a lot. It shows me my mistakes and helps me to learn what is the correct moves. I look forward to learning from this for a long while.

Each tactic is highly instructive. Shows refutations for wrong moves. Will even bring up related exercises that have been distilled from the main tactic if you get really stuck. Fantastic app!

Outstanding, but don't neglect other titles

A well-known classic has Blokh's superb problem set finally available on iOS. I have waited a long, long time for these training for courses to make their way to this platform. However, there are other great titles available from the same publisher such as Ivashchenko's tactical problems. Don't ignore those because this is the must famous title. I look forward to the release of Attack The King 1 for mate in 2 speed drilling.
