CSV Lite works by reading CSV files, a file format which almost all databases and applications like Excel, Filemaker, Access, Bento and others can export to. To get the CSV files on your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch, you can download the files the standard way using iTunes. In addition, you can also download CSV files directly from the web (e.g. MobileMe) or from FTP server; if you do this, it is a simple click of a button to update the file when there is a new version available on the server.
Note that CSV Lite does not allow editing of your database. See http://www.ozymandias.se for more information and screenshots. CSV Lite is free but restricted (only 1 CSV file with 150 items); buy CSV Touch if you need to be able to use more files and/or items.

Couldn't read my CSV file. I exported a file from FileMaker Pro, imported it into this app, and this app showed it as a completely blank file.
This is almost exactly what I am looking for. It read my csv database without issue. I have about 30 people in the database. Each person has nearly 200 attributes. All thecdata is presented cleanly and is simple to access. I can easily move from one set of data to the next -- one person to the next. But what I need is for the first item (the name) to be optionally frozen and displayed at all times. I want to, for example, look at data item 123 then quickly slide to the next person to view item 123. And so on for each person. I don't want to keep scrolling up to the top to find out which person this record belongs to. If I could freeze the first row then I'd give this 5 stars.
really simple to use, interface is well designed and is one more tool that separates me from my desktop... Thanks
Fails to open the file. Waste of time Deleting.
After downloading and going through the directions, the App did not work. I tried several times without success. I have an iPad with plenty of storage.
