Not a good update

I have had this app for a few years. Loved it. But this update has bugs. Today's quote is dated the Nov 15. Sure hope it's fixed soon.

It often does not change the quote for 2 days. It's had 2 quotes on the same day same screen. It's not nearly as aesthetic. And it's already recycling the more recent quotes instead of (seemingly) continuing from where we left off. I'd vote to put it back like it was....there was nothing wrong with it.

Bring back the old app

The update before the most current one ruined the app. Now the quote of the day sometimes doesn't change or features two quotes, there is much less variety in quotes, and it just looks worse. The older version was so much nicer! Please bring it back!

I like the quotes but hate how this update "locks" the screen in portrait mode. Please fix so I can read it in landscape.

Should you get this app? Duh!! Yes!!! You'll LOVE it! This app is just what I need! I love C.S. Lewis! These quotes are perfect for each day and I don't think it really matters if the format or landscape or whatever the two other reviews said changes, it's awesome! And totally inspirational!

It is one of my every day app. It would be better to have a "favorite verse collection " function.

Great application. I'd like to see what book and chapter each quote comes from though so that I can go back and read it in context.

My rating is only one star currently because suddenly the quotes from Mr. Lewis are gone! They've been replaced by scripture verses - nothing wrong with that, but I can find lots of verse a day apps if I want that. Bring back the Lewis quotes, please! (Adding citations would be good too.)

I was also disappointed when I received scripture verses instead of C.S. Lewis quotes because I have other scripture apps. . . but thank you for bringing the quotes back:)

The upgrade is a downgrade to me. It now has lines framing the words and animated ads that detract from the peaceful power of the quotes. And it no longer rotates, so I must turn device horizontal to read it. I miss just the simple landscape with the powerful words that I could read without rotating.
