Unfortunate experience

This app is not being maintained. I denied push notifications on instal. There isn’t anything on the screen but a picture and a quote that has text rendering issues. No buttons. No menu. No nothing. Fail. 44mb instal? What the heck is all that bloat about for one 500k JPEG and 3kb of text ? Good bye poor dying app.

I've had this app for years and am an avid Lewis fan. The quotes are great, but I worry that those less familiar with Lewis' work might be a bit perplexed by some of the quotes, like those from the Screwtape Letters, and wonder why Lewis sometimes refers to God as the "Enemy." Thus, I think it would be beneficial to provide the source of each quote as well. Lastly, the older app image was more elegant in my opinion. It's a little weird having someone's face on my screen.

Yoyodude!!!
I used to love this app. But after the new update the quotes hardly ever change. And they keep repeating every few days. I hope they make it like it used to be.

This update is absolutely awful. For today's date it had passage from the Psalms. I love Psalms, but they are NOT C S Lewis!!

I have the same issues as the other reviews. Please fix the bugs on this app! The quotes are wonderful when they actually update.

Since updating to new iPhone 8, the App does not load correctly and the Quotes are not visible. Seems like it will not size to the screen. The advertisements at the bottom load just fine.
