Eh.

It’s a fun enough game. It would be much better if it was more aesthetically pleasing. It’s just sort of bland.

Love cryptograms

St&Cy

So glad to be able to have cryptograms to solve on my phone. Thanks :-)

I love it!

Panda Bear Waltz

They literally have the entirety of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz on here, broken down into little puzzles. And that’s only one of the stories. This is honestly just great.

Love this game!

I love the concept of this cryptogram game! Decoding a whole story keeps the interest so much longer. It just challenging enough that you’re not discouraged if you hit rough spot. Totally addicted!! There’s so many stories to decode it’s practically limitless!! Please keep updating with new stories! Update: I don’t usually pay for games but this time I did! Willing to support a great game! $1.99 to remove the ads? Totally worth it!!

Re: Immature stories - there is one or two, but I liked them and I’m old ;-) Space bar Tip - tapping on the space bar takes you to the next letter. This is different than the advance to next letter option because you can hit the space bar multiple times to get to an empty space (or wherever). Yes, I skipped the help section. Love the fresh idea of solving a story. Am having fun and need to spend more time solving and less time reviewing ;-) I agree with others that the curser should jump to the next empty spot. Get a bit tired of moving my thumb a full two inches to click the next blank. Lazy, but still! Now SOLVED, kind of - use space bar. Developer is very responsive. Thanks!

Relaxing

I played the game a few years ago and I am enjoying playing a second time through. I’m interested in paying to remove ads but I would like to know how much you are charging before I am asked to put in my Apple password.

Horrible

Cool concept but by the second ones it gets way to hard without using a ton of hints and there are way to many adds. There are better cryptogram apps out there on the Apple store.

Needs more mature taste in literature

Readingaloud

An excellent idea with a couple of flaws, both related to the choice of texts. The first is that unless there are some peculiar features in a passage, they’re rarely difficult to solve—pull out A and I, and then look for a likely THE. Then, since you already know the general subject of the passage, the solution is usually pretty obvious. But I can see how some people would find this a virtue—it can be relaxing to knock off a series of easy puzzles. The second flaw relates to the developer’s taste in literature. The selections aren’t bad, exactly, but they’re all the sort of stories that appeal particularly to teenage boys. I find myself groaning (and often skipping to the next one) as soon as I recognize the text, usually on the first page. Selections chosen by someone with more mature literary taste would be very welcome.

Would give it TEN stars if I could

It's a great game, and I have happily paid to get rid of the ads. Other than a very occasional typo, I'm finding the stories a real treat and am practically addicted to this app. So much fun, so easy to use... one other thing... It would be nice if there were 'next page/previous page' arrows at the bottom of each page as well as at the top. It's an A+ super-terrific wonderful wonderful game. And they keep adding more stories! Love love love it.
