Good, but could be better

I'm not a fan of the mandatory updates or the way the coins work. Other than that, the puzzles are fun and challenging.

After playing Crosswords with friends for more than three months I started getting a message saying data could not be retrieved. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app only to lose all my former puzzles all my coins and all my puzzle packs. I reached out to them and got no response. Since I’ve reinstalled, I’ve played for approximately a week and now I’m getting the same message. Not again.
Why constant updates?

About once a month we are required to update. Why so often. And you are supposed to receive coins after a certain number of days and puzzles. I have over 1000 days and more puzzles but was told to send pictures of a complete Sunday puzzle and the rewards I was talking about. Bull! Another update for inane things. Now it is frozen on a page that you are supposed to gift someone! Can't get it off of this stupid page , I'm sick of the way they do,this. Just did update and here we go,again! After contacting them I was to send a screenshot of my accomplishments. So I sent a shot of their statistics page on me, but that wasn't what they wanted. Sent a snap of accomplishments, nope that didn't do it. Even with the statistics they don't acknowledge ,So who cares? They don't want to give coins because it will keep you from watching ads.

Recently the free coins for watching ads NEVER works! I wish they would fix that!

....most of the time you can’t watch videos for free coins. And the few times you can watch the videos, you don’t get free coins. And I decided I am not buying any more coins. This is a shame since the daily puzzles are quite fun and easy. After I run out of coins, though, I am deleting the app. I think you should be awarded coins for solving puzzles. They just want my money! See ya!

I will not buy coins! If I cannot watch videos to earn coins, be honest and say so. Do not waste my time saying they are not available r having me watch them and not awarding coins. If all you want is money, be honest, get rid of ads and most of your players, including me, and knock yourselves out! It’s been nice but if I wanted to spend money, the beach sounds better. Would love a response but won’t hold my breath.
Used to be great
The coins are stupid.
I used to do the crossword daily, now it’s become unusable. It fails to launch at least three days a week, and often freezes in the middle of ads running where the only way to get to the crossword is to exit out and restart, which means watching another ad. I’m deleting and finding a new app.
