iCloud support - Enable iCloud sync in the Crossword Puzzler preferences. If enabled, the current puzzle will be synchronized between devices.

Tips:
To add puzzles, click the "Download Today's Puzzles" button in the puzzles view, or click the "+" button to add puzzles from other days.
You can enter a user name and password for sites that require it by clicking the info button or by going into settings.
When solving a puzzle, you can shake your device to go to the next clue.
Tapping the clue at the top of the screen will switch between across and down.

A very respectable crossword app with a download feature I really wanted

Crossword Puzzler has some interface quirks but it does the job well, and has one feature I was especially looking for - the ability to open Across Lite .puz files directly from Safari or Dropbox. The main interface quirks: first, it doesn't use the standard keyboard, but instead a set of boxy buttons which appear at the side of the puzzle when you press a toggle. It's a little odd, but you get used to it. Another oddity is that it shows wrong letters in red by default. Serious puzzlers will want to turn that off immediately. The third main quirk is that you can't expand the grid to view an enlarged section, a common feature in other crossword apps, and one especially useful on the smaller screen of the iPhone. On an iPad this won't be such an issue. On the plus side it shows a lot of other clues besides the current one, so you can scan for one you know. It can get the usual selection of daily and weekly puzzles, including NY Times if you have the paid subscription, and LA Times if you join cruciverb.com for free. I'm going to give it 5 stars, but it could really use the grid zoom capability. (There is a "zoom" setting but that controls whether the side keyboard is permanent or not.)

This crossword game is my favorite of its kind. But recently, cannot download daily crosswords. There seems to be no app support. Please fix.

When attempting to change puzzles, the app suddenly closes. Please rectify or refund purchase cost. Attempted to reinstall and now the app does not open at all. App support links take me to Facebook but no support page. Fix please.

App closed each time I tried to download a new puzzle. Reloaded app and now it will not open at all. Please fix or return refund money. Was working great and very dependable until just recently. Was one of my favorites.

If you like doing crossword puzzles, you will like this though it has some quirks. When in portrait mode on ipad, some of the down questions are hidden. When i first tried the program, it did not run smoothly ( unable to download puzzles, and then shut down). But started back up and has worked fine ever since. A universal app that works fine in either ipad or iphone (iPhone does not have the occasional down-hiding flaw noticed on the ipad as puzzle only in portrait mode on iphone). But easily able to download daily puzzles from all available sources at once. Tap on a clue and the clue is enlarged at top of screen (handy for limited space on iphone). Can set puzzle to show errant entries in red as you type. Completed clues greyed out. Have used daily for about a month and only the minor issue noted above. Recommended.

This app does not support an external keyboard. If they would fix that, this could be a great app.
