There are no features that come with the app whatsoever. 90% of the reviews are fake and they are so lazy as to posting the same fake reviews over and over again.
Sometimes your speaker volume or other settings may act goofy if the app settings differ between the multiple devices that you've linked to the speaker. So you need to be aware if one device's app settings are different from how your speaker is currently performing if you choose to open the app on that specific device. That might be difficult to understand for those who haven't tinkered with the app while their speaker is linked to multiple devices at once, it does take some getting used to.
The software itself is simplistic, but goes along with the clean design. I do wish they had gone with a white background instead of black, as it seems a bit dated and harder to read, but that's personal preference.
No issues with the app in iOS 9.3.1 on an iPhone 6S. That said, the app isn't just terribly important insofar as once you've established a Bluetooth connection you're just sending over all your audio (including clicks and dings) to the speaker.
The app is ok. I have just mostly been pairing it like a regular Bluetooth speaker and it is fine that way. I wish it didn't make
such loud noises when it paired, but I have another speaker that does the same thing and am sort of used to it.
The app works great on my iPhone, I love that it integrates my Music so I don't have to swap between apps.
They finally released an app version that didn't crash (June 2016). Great.
