Great organizer app!

This app eliminated multiple calendars and sticky notes! We bought a magnetic mount for a tablet to display on our fridge. One enhancement I would like to see is a setting for adjusting the home screen display/font size. This makes it easier to read a tablet to read from a distance. I currently use the OS accessibility setting for font size, but this makes some apps to overlap text lines.
Terrible calendar display

I made the mistake of assuming that the Cozi app would have at least a mediocre display on the calendar view for everyone in the household to see. I was dead wrong. I could create a more visually appealing and color coded calendar view with the 1997 version of Microsoft excel. It’s even hard to see what month you’re looking at. Why is “February” arbitrarily abbreviated? The grid lines on the calendar are hard to see and it’s not clear what numerical date falls within the faint grid lines I looked into the Terms and Conditions and there are no refunds for the $29.99 annual charge, even on the day you purchased. Buyer beware. Better yet, just keep scrolling.

Missing schedule function

Paid for gold and it’s very worth it. I do wish there was a widget for Apple but overall one of the best calendar apps

In general this is a useful calendar with one huge exception (minus 2 stars)…. If you have a recurring event such as “soccer practice” every week, and then something changes (such as the time, location, or attendees) for one particular event and then the event gets canceled entirely….. a ghost of this event will show up in iCal for all the original participants. These ghosts don’t show up in Cozi, but if you mainly access another calendar and share Cozi to that calendar, be aware of this glitch. This has been reported to their customer service with the not-at-all-helpful reply of don’t edit then delete an event. Surely there is a way to make the code more robust! Maybe future versions will fix it (bug present for a couple years at least, so not too hopeful). **** Cozi responded that they were unaware of this issue (1-21-22). I corresponded with Marian on 2/24/21 and would attach that here if images were allowed.

The app is decent and works well in helping you and your family organize. There’s a lot of small items that are frustrating to use as a phone app, such as adding recipes to the food option. Plus there’s a lot off disconnected options that exists only on the desktop, and a phone app. It can be frustrating but overall it’s a decent option and gets the job done.
