Cover Up
Cover Up helps students develop a strategy for solving algebraic equations that is more intuitive than mechanical use of order of operations. Given an equation that is “messy” with fractions, exponents, square roots, etc., students cover up the challenging part of the equation to make it more intuitive to solve. Five different levels of problems are included. A great way to develop confidence in solving challenging algebraic equations in a way that makes sense!

Great App!!!

I absolutely love this app. It is applicable to a variety of student levels and breaks down equations for students to solve, part by part. Students are able to solve algebraic expressions using one and two step equations by covering up selected parts of equations. Instructions could be better, but working wish a student or class, instructions would just need to be done before students start the game.
