An ever-growing and expanding app designed to engage middle school/high school students in mathematics. WileDMath is an educational app designed by a math teacher looking to engage students through the use of effective technology in and hopefully out of the classroom.
Show work on the chalkboard, answer questions, plot a line, earn credits, play games, perhaps even earn that high score. WileD Math provides boundless opportunities to provide motivation for students and adults alike!
WileDMath goes into a variety of math categories including, algebra, geometry, Pythagorean Theorem, plotting points, graphing, probability, square roots, percents, fractions, inequalities, algebraic properties and so much more!
Even though this app was created for middle school, it is very useful for 5th grade as well. I love that it is self-checking and motivating. Kids love instant results and the games are fun when they reach their goals! Great app!
This app is fantastic!! Wonderful motivator for the unmotivated!! Love the way is it self checking & gives the student a reward system as well!!
After just a few minutes of problem-solving: 2-step equations and distributive property, I am hooked. My math students will love this app and I will be able to see their success rate at all times. I like that the games cannot be played until the points are earned by successful completion of the problems. Warren County Public Schools should be extra proud of this (math) teacher! Atta-boy, Mr. Wile!
Lots of good practice for students, but getting a question wrong just yields the correct answer, with no explanation. This makes it of limited use unless students have supervision or access to knowledgable peers.
I love this app for practicing but when I get something wrong I don't understand how to actually do the problem right. Please add explanations so we can learn from our mistakes.
Great app and students enjoy the mini games.
I just had to get this app for 7th grade math and we had to do some inequalities. At first I was confused, but now it's actually helping me learn. THANKS JEFFREY <3 -DJ JIMMY
