My son LOVES it!
Malinda Ott

We bought this game because our 2 year-old son is obsessed with numbers. He LOVES it! We bought this app about 3 weeks ago, and now he even counts in tens starting at any number: 11, 21, 31, 41, etc. or 14, 24, 34, 44, etc. In the "training" mode, the app lets you increase the bears by ones (by tapping the small green mushroom ) or tens (by tapping the big, green mushroom). It adds a/the bear/s, displays the new number, and says the number after you tap a mushroom. There are two reasons why I didn't give this app 5 stars, even though we love it: 1. The app is called "Count to 100", but when it gets to 100, the number 100 isn't fully displayed. The 0 is the units place is only showing half of the 0 vertically. So the number displayed is not "100", it is more like "10(". 2. The app touts that it can teach your child to count in English, Spanish, German, and French, but how can it when it says the words so quickly! We speak English, Spanish, and German, and we have noticed that some numbers are pronounced slowly enough that an ear new to them can distinguish the individual sounds, whereas other numbers are said so fast that a novice ear wouldn't be able to make out the individual sounds to be able to learn how to count in those languages. In your next update, please make all numbers pronounced at a "mother-ease" speed-the speed that research shows kids learn best from.

Very basic app

As most apps for counting are not free, my wife and I did trial and error for a good counting app for our 3 year old. We started with this app and quickly turned to "Count To 100!". This app requires pressing a big or small "green" mushroom to cause a character to move onto the screen and red ones for the character to move off " subtract", while the voice counts out the current number. The game consists of the app providing a number and then the user presses the mushrooms to reach the desired number. The app does allow adding/subtracting 10 at a time but not restrict to only by 10s like the other mentioned app. If only wanting to buy 1, don't buy this one. Buy "Count To 100!".

Counting to 100

When my daughter completed the first round it ask to count the objects and the game never put any more objects on screen so I thought it was zero but I was wrong it gave an answer of 66 and there was not 66 objects there where none. That was a trick my daughter said and I told her it should not of been set up like that. There seems to be a glitch in the game. And it also stated that your child would go "beyond" 100 and that is not true. I feel I've wasted $4.00 on this game. I want a refund.

Horrible

This app is horrible and does nothing but count along with the child. It was a waste of money

I can't believe I wasted $2.99 on this. There are no clear instructions and not challenging games. Just objects to count, not fun, not worth in. I could draw 100 birds on a piece of paper and it would be better. I'll be disputing the charge on my credit card.
