I thought there would be some kind of instruction. Nothing. Just a warm up an then alternate walking and running. I don’t get any sound except a ding. No voice no music nothing. If I try to use an app for music it stops when I go back to the app.
I had the old Couch to 5K. It worked just fine. It’s now updated to a fancier app, with more options of vArious fitness things, coach, voice, etc. But, the workouts remain the same. More $. And it makes you register. I tried to use with a treadmill, like I used to with the old app, and it did not sense that I was moving. I tried to find a setting to adjust but could not. So, I will no longer be using this app. Which is too bad, I liked the old one.
Way stronger runner this time, thanks to cycling, so using it differently. A great guide to keep me focused.
This application stopped and reset at least twice during one session. Easy to activate music with program.
I really like the pace & the interval training. You don't give up because you know that you get a walking interval. I don't like that when I switch to another app like MapMyRun or even music, this app will auto-pause & only resumes when you open it back up.
Despite being very difficult to navigate, First day the app ran great. Second day music wouldn't play and timer was running double time counting down by twos. Deleting it!!! Don't waste your money !!
I love the idea of the app because it helps me pace myself and build up during runs or else I would run flat out and be worn out in 30 mins. I hate that it can't seem to figure a lot of it out. The app is difficult to navigate and when the phone auto locks it pauses it. Since I am running I don't notice then I have to unpause and I have run for way too long and get off time. Also, how do I look at previous sessions???
