Replaced Siri and Alexa

Cortana seems to “get it” most of the time when Siri or Alexa are confused by the same questions. I used to really like the Windows phone interface and integration, now the best “Windows phone” is an iPhone with the right apps.
Upset about latest version 2.6.12 (Late July 2018)

Dear Microsoft, Your latest version for Cortana; (Version 2.6.12) on July 6th, has completely broken the Cortana app; making it totally unusable. I've used the Cortana in my daily routine, on Windows 10, Android, and the iOS app for *very a long time. By now, I am familiar enough the app, and know when there's an issue with any of the Cortana skills, services, functions, ect. Your update for the Cortana app on released for the iPhone in July 6th; causes Cortana to quit working after a short period of time. In this version, when opening the Cortana app, I am often finding myself unable to ask Cortana questions. Or becoming complety signed out of the application. After a short period, I'll launch open Cortana and proceed to speak a question into the search box or type out a question; when all the sudden, all of Cortana's web-based services quit working. (These include: Reminders, Suggested Reminders, Search results, & Calander.) Before you blame Apple or a someone's iPhone; (as many Microsoft Tech support personnel try to do) I've used Cortana for **very a long time. By now, I definitely know when there's an issue with any of the services. This includes *Enabled Cortana skills, .I reach to developers whenever a Cortana skill doesn't function properly. It's been my experience, most third party developers for Cortana care as much about their skills and service working,as I do about being able to use them. I found on more than one occasion, I suddenly cannot communicate with Cortana for no apparent reason. In summary: I can confirm Cortana app: 1) stops giving responses, 2) ceases to work entirely after a period of time, 3) signs user out of application; Microsoft account I know when the Cortana app has become completely unresponsive, so I exited the out the app, powered off my iPhone, signed out of my associated Microsoft account, and reinstalled the app. * I've reinstalled Cortana (5) times now. ** Yes Microsoft, the Cortana app is *still* broken after all of the alternatives listed above. It doesn't solve any of this ....? None of these methods of troubleshooting; solve the issues previously mentioned. This confirms there is no doubt; an underlining issue with the update you've released for the Cortana app since July 2018 . So please Microsoft: Take the feedback seriously, listen to a customer's input & do something about it please. If you care about a customer, you'll have your developers under the Cortana "umbrella" push out another update to fix this.

I am a longtime windows user and wanted to use Cortana on my iPhone. When it works, it’s really nice. I kept getting a message that she cannot connect and to try again later. Google assistant would be working fine at the same time, so I know it wasn’t the phone. I would like to use Cortana, but Google has never let me down, so until someone can help me figure out the problem I will stick with Google.

That’s the best assistant you can get by far. I tried all of them and Cortana is the best.
Pretty limited on iPhone

Latest version (2.6.12) resets my data and makes me log back in once a day, which is very frustrating. Otherwise, it’s fine. Coming from Windows Phone, Cortana on iPhone isn’t of much use.

After the most recent update 2.6.12 I have to reinstall every day or it might have me sign in again.

I have used Siri, Google Assistant, and Cortana. Cortana used to handily beat Siri, and usually beat Google. But this latest update is useless. All it does is say "I can't connect at the moment. Please try again in a little bit." There is good WiFi connection yet this happens. If I uninstall and reinstall it works once, then stops. I've reported this to Microsoft but they aren't listening.
Logs you out of Microsoft Authenticator

There’s a bug with version 2.6.13 that when you upgrade, it will wipe out your account in Microsoft Authenticator. Be forewarned if you also use that app.
