Trying to use this on iOS 12, but keyboard is useless. Can save a clipping in the app, but the save button in the keyboard merely flashes but doesn’t save. I’m going to look for a different app to use.
This app is phenomenal, although there are a couple additional features I wish it had. The only reason I give a five-star deserving app one less star. I wish it would allow an unlimited number of items to be saved as opposed to 1000. Although I have not reached a need for it, I could see myself needing it in the future. Also, I don’t understand the 30 day window for clippings. Aside from this, the sync functionality and the scripting, as well as the regex rules are super super impressive. These are not the only standout features of this app, even. It is essentially perfect and sooooo worth the price. The unpaid version doesn’t even do it justice. Don’t even use it unless you’re buying it. Unless you prefer tools that are less powerful.
and it made archiving really better. Sorry about the grammar :-)
First, the app does not support rich text, making it almost worthless for real work. Second, it is very cumbersome on the iPad and it’s extremely hard to get your clips back onto the clipboard. As such, I’ve reverted to using Apple’s Pages app with a document called Clipboard, where I keep all my snippets. It faithfully preserves formatting and is easy to use, though not really optimized for this kind of work. Disappointing after a decade of iOS that there is no good clipboard manager app available, and I’ve tried as many as I can find in the AppStore.
The app is great when it works but there are more and more bugs as new versions of macOS and iOS are released. The developer appears to be missing in action. I hope they will return and fix the bugs, and when they do I will change my review.
Ever have some block of data poof-disappear out of an app? COPIED is the safety net that will end such sometimes-tragic loses. Very well thought out functions, simple time-saving shortcuts, ability to create folders with permanent storage...and more! My two observations/wishes are: 1. Observation: After a recent iOS upgrade, the items on the COPIED screen jump down a quarter inch every time the app is invoked. This happens just as one’s finger is landing on an item being selected, resulting in a wrong selection or no selection. 2. Wish: Sync capabilities with other COPIED users.
