I just wasted $4.00 on this useless app. I make videos for YouTube and Amazon Prime Video and I’ve been looking for a quicker way to convert video files I’ve edited on my iPad Pro to the appropriate formats. This is especially important for uploading to Amazon since they have very strict/narrow technical requirements for each video. I thought this app might do the trick but so far it doesn’t actually DO anything. Every time I attempt to upload a video from my “camera roll” on iOS the thing crashes and I get nowhere. It basically doesn’t work at all. Maybe the file sizes I’m attempting to upload/convert are too large? Whatever the case may be, as far as I’m concerned this app is garbage.

This is simple to figure out and it does what it says it will without any hassle. I tried five different video converters - this was the best - by far. No one gave me anything nor paid me to post this review. This app is a good value.

update2- The highest bit rate for a re-encode is 1205 k/sec? is this a joke? iPhone 7 records at 22,532 k/sec , so you’re looking at about 1/20th the quality if you use advanced re-encode. trash app, fake reviews UPDATE - moved review from two stars to one star, after reading the other reviews it really looks like these are scam/ fake/paid reviews propping this app up to a high score (which is what brought me to it), additionally I will now most likely file for a refund also. so far the app has been good at converting the three or four videos I’ve tried, however the ads are beyond obnoxious. I did purchase the in app upgrade for more conversion options (which also removes the ads) , but prior to my purchase the full screen ads would not allow you to close them and no matter what you did , they would bring out of this app and into the App Store (I understand time delay ads on a free app, but show reasonable / decent ads). outside of the ads encountered quite a few other bugs that are un acceptable for a paid app; from VLC when I choose open in convert+, I then get a pointless prompt that says “test” (or something) and cancel/ok - when I press OK this app just freezes. when I tried to email any video file ( pre-or post conversion) from this app, (via open in-> iOS mail, small 3mb or 4 MB video files) iOS mail get stuck on sending (as this app isn’t properly passing the file to iOS mail). The workaround is from within this app to save to camera roll and then send through Mail. (However this is unacceptable and also makes it such that you can *only* email video files which are in .MP4 format as you must first save them to your camera roll, which only allows.MP4 format). i’m on iPhone 7, iOS 11.3.
