Great app! I was tracking my contractions and my husband and I were debating should we go. We are still so far apart you google everything and always find multiple answers. Then at the next contraction the app so cutely popped up with “get ready” you may want to head to the hospital and we laughed a little and decided to go ahead and go. We were as close to right on time as possible. I delivered 3 hrs later which was quick as far as arriving to ER and getting through triage and getting to the room where our guy was delivered!

Great tool

I used this app for about two weeks to make sure I was keeping the right track. It kept saying practice contractions and it calmed me down On the day of, it said to prepare and call the hospital. We did, so we were ready to go. Then, it prompted me to go to the hospital. I went to pee and what was left of my mucus plug came out. So I woke up my husband and got to the hospital. Three hours later, my baby was born. This app really helped me to come in at the right time and not freak out before hand

Xx Free mode ad pop-up xx

Timer is fine. Interface and layout is more asthetically pleasing than others, but the ads are really annoying when you are in the midst of timing your contractions. This is really not the ideal time to tell me about primary care Dr's, thanks.

Paid for ad free version- still getting ads

I paid for the full version and it was supposed to be ad free but I’m still getting ads. What a scam. If I could give no stars, I would.

MUST HAVE!!

I literally used this app not knowing I was even in labor I was just having pain and I wanted to time it to let my doctor know when they were coming then it tells me to go to the hospital. Soon as I reach the hospital my water broke. Glad I had this app.

Great, but rename the app!

This was a wonderful way to keep count when my attention was so fully consumed with the contractions. However, after a bit a message from the App Store to rate the app asked “How are you enjoying Contractions?” I almost threw my phone across the room! Loved the app, not the pain! By all means, use this to take the thinking part out of labor, but let someone else rate the app when the message comes up :)

Pop up ads in between contractions.

Chrissyloohoo

When trying to log contractions I can’t tell you how infuriating it is to have to exit out of pop up ads! I had my baby in the car, my contractions were strong and I tried as long as I could to time them in this app to try to discern if I was going to make it to the hospital. I eventually had to toss the phone because trying to exit out of a ?? advertisement while in labor, in between contractions, is an awful experience for moms in labor. Search elsewhere and test out system before you go into labor.

Very helpful

Was a great way to feel prepared when calling triage to ask if I should come in.
