As far as I can tell this app really did its job. I had over 1,000 duplicates for some reason so there was no way I was going to sit there and delete them manually.

I strongly recommend AGAINST Cleaner, an iOS contact management app! Horrible. Two hours removing duplicates, then find contacts crashing and rebooting the iphone. 30 mins troubleshooting, then try to use Cleaner restore. Result 2hours hanging restore, 2xs. Nothing to do but restore from iphone backup taking 2-1/2 hours, plus 1 hour restoring all account and application passwords.

There are so many other apps that are free to use (or a one time cost) and do the same thing. This app requires you to pay $9.99 every MONTH...that’s roughly $120 a year if you want this app to take care of duplicate contacts. Don’t pay up and you can only delete 20 duplicate contacts. Plus, if you want the full package: unlimited duplicate merges/deletes, ability to backup new contacts list, and alerts when dupes appear...you will be shelling out 14.99 per month...almost 200 dollars per year. If you do download this crap just know they want you to “create an account” right away...DON’T DO IT. Hit “skip” in the top right corner.
