I got this app to research cars. Most of the cars I look up have no info on them. Also it would be nice to be able to look up vehicles by ratings, Compare cars side by side. So many missed opportunities here. When they do have info on a vehicle it is very helpful, but for me they are few and far between.

CR should publish the metrics used to rank cars and SUVs. Also, please do due diligence on the safety and usability of displays. I own and have owned Subarus for years and can tell you the 2020s display is really difficult to use. Did important functions the driver must look at the screen — while driving!

I just downloaded this app assuming I could just pay for access with an apple store subscription. This app doesn’t allow that. Apparently I have to create an account somewhere else and presumably give lots of personal information to Consumer Reports. No thanks. I’m not against paying but I’d appreciate a privacy-respecting way to do it.

Consumer Reports has always been great for me…but, what happened to your Apple ? TV ?,version? I was able to download it,but EVERY TIME I TRY to open it, the app immediately crashes! IF…it’s No Longer Available, then shouldn’t you *INFORM* the App Store people,& have it removed? If it’s their policy to keep it up because it’s paid for throughout,whatever…Consumer Reports should,at least, allow the app to be opened for a decent explanation. Thoughts…?
