So it’s now 8/17/20 and the Usage function on the APP still doesn’t work. Great to pay bills. Smart meters are a JOKE. ConEdison should be ashamed. —————————— So in the midst of a global pandemic, and numerous days over 80, for the last month or so the app has been disabled to see any usage data. You can pay ur bill, see your bills. But real time usage, nope. So much for smart meters. I was told it would be back in August. Wonder if that’s with an update or magic? Like flipping a switch back on?
Usage Function Does Not Work

The app has limited use since the usage function (historical and real time) does not work. Keeps saying that I have no internet connection which is not true. I’ve tried reinstalling to no success. I’ve also sent an email to Con Ed customer service but have not received a response for over two weeks.

This app doesn’t let me see my usage. Keeps saying I’m offline (like many other reviews). Very frustrating and is the same with everyone in my household. Please fix this con-ed!

“Looks like you’re offline” is all I ever get to check usage. I magically connect when it’s time for you to take my money though. Fix this please
Auto Pay Unenroll

So I found out recently that you cannot unenroll or turn off auto pay through the switch in the app even though the option it’s made to seem available to you. Once I swipe the button off and exit the billing page the setting resets and turns back on. I’m currently not making enough money to pay my bills all at once and because of this flaw I have to go another week unable to buy food or do laundry. Thanks Con Ed

Under the Usage tab, Billing, Usage, and Real Time Usage don’t work. You can just view and pay your bill. Update: They finally fixed the Usage tab, now I can view my real time usage.
Usage feature buggy

The ConEd usage was great and then they turned it off in June for 2 months for some unknown reason. They recently turned it back on and the user experience is now awful. It’s buggy and freezes constantly, making it basically unusable for tracking daily energy use. Really disappointed.
