This app is WAY too expensive for a membership, especially for what you get. I paid for the membership, hoping it would make my experience better, but the only thing that made it better was being able to see pictures of people. There isn't a very big database, and the app is cumbersome to use and figure out. I have been having more success with other apps, that were free, or more than half the cost. I'm really disappointed with this one.

I'm not sure how apps that cost nothing manage to link you with someone who may be compatible or even near by, but a site/app as advanced as this cannot. I've logged in and out for the last few years, and not only is EH cumbersome and almost silly to navigate, but it no matter what you select, your shown pictureless profiles of people from all over the country. Filters don't seem to be of importance here, but subscriptions do. There are a dozen dating apps out there especially for the LGBT community. By the way, I'm not sure how I feel about EH creating separate but equal site for the gays...

Terrible App. Don't waste your time or money

Paid the fee, answered a ton of questions (can't answer them on the mobile app) some of which clearly presume that the person answering is Christian, set up the profile, etc. Very few matches, and about 50% of my matches turned out to be unavailable. You try to message them on the mobile app and it says there is an issue in CP's side and try again later. I tried some matches days in a row same message. Finally went on the actual site, turns out they are not available any more, but don't disappear from the mobile app. And the list goes on. Going to cancel ASAP. What a waste, don't even want to give it one star.

There are only 12 eligible people within a 100 mile radius and the instructions to cancel my account lead me to nothing. I want out, but can't get out. Worthless service.

I started out by not getting any matches, and was told that I needed to expand my parameters so as to allow for more matches, so I gradually did that, but it got to the point where I had gone far beyond what I know I would accept. But after much reflection I have learned over the years that "settling" for something rather than getting nothing is better, except that you realize that you shouldn't have to settle for something as important as a life partner! Yes, it is fine being single rather than being in a relationship that you grow to hate - been there, done that! The problem is that the pool of members is just too small...I don't want a relationship with someone 20+ years younger, even with a mind I like, or someone with whom I have NO chemistry ...there has to be at least a little physical attraction, or it just won't work. If someone has the perfect mind, spiritually, etc., but no chemistry, you just end up friends. This software should still be in beta, with a lower cost, until the pool grows large enough. Buyer beware!

Unless, the object is to make money while posing as a real service. I believe you are cruel to be fleecing lonely people who are in situations where they cannot get out and find love on their own.
