Be Aware Of Hidden Cancelation Terms

I gave Compatible Partners (eHarmony) a try as they seem to be a reputable company. I have tried other dating apps and I have never had this many issues. I upgraded to the premium version and after a few weeks of trying and contacting customer service to play with the settings, I asked for the account to be cancelled since I’m not getting any matches. They denied my request and stated that I only had three days to make that decision. Otherwise, all three payments needed to be made. Now this company is forcing me to keep a profile that does NOT work. How are you suppose to make a decision on an app in only three days? Save yourself money and a headache and try other apps.

Stupid app

Kmk2121

Stupidest app ever I unsubscribe after 2 hours and I wish I could figure out how to get my money back! Worst 50 bucks I ever spent.

Worst Application Ever

Rubalkhali

Save your time and money

I figured being paid app that asks proper questions upfront it would be a good way to meet some folks. It wasn’t. Even with broad match settings (up to 100 miles away) I got a very low number of matches, and those matches were not curated at all - they served up literally anyone they had.....because it seems they just don’t have many people on it. And I’m not in Montana - I’m in LA! Like others, I tried to cancel future payments on the basis that they were not delivering what they promised, and they refused. I figured a company like eharmony would be better. It’s the worst app of its kind. Don’t do it.

Garbage

Big Daddy Eric

I paid for the premium subscription and the messaging portion of the app wouldn’t work. I reached out to support and they told me they didn’t know why it was happening, but that I should access the website from a computer. What is the point then of the app? No refund for the $60 that I spent on the subscription. I wish I would have read more reviews before purchasing and can see why it’s only at a one star rating. Don’t bother with this app.

Not worth it

Cristina DeLeon

Total waste of money. I wouldn’t give it any stars.

Epic Fail

I’m bisexual. I made an account hoping to meet people... absolutely no matches... I tried to switch it to straight, but it wouldn’t let me. When I emailed customer support, they said to send them a 2nd email and I could have an eHarmony account and a CP account without being charged twice. Responded with the second email: “we don’t have an account with that email. What are you attempting to do?” I would like to have both EH and CP “Ok. Please respond within 24hrs with a 2nd email... etc.” This went on for a week until they said I couldn’t do it anymore... so I’m paying for 6mo of nothing. Thanks!

Expensive and bad

Jmbarnas

This app is incredibly expensive, I’ve gotten next to no matches and maybe I’m shallow but everyone on it looks like a muppet... so don’t waste your time or money...

Dont even bother

Claxton916

This app is a JOKE. You'll spend an hour on a questionnaire and then it wont even let you look at matches unless you pay up. The “special offer” is 39.99 1 month is 59.99 6 months is 179.99 12 months is 239.99 What kind of money do they think I make?? I wish I could report this app to the app store so it could get taken down because of how awful the paywall is.

No real matches

duped and feeling stupid

I live in a city of 6 million people. Giving a zip code that is dead center of the city with 60 mile search radius, no matches. My closest “matches” are hundreds of miles away, Texas, California, The Philippines, London England, Australia. These are not real “matches” because how am I supposed to date someone who lives on the other side of the world? Like, “ Hey you want yo go see a movie?” “Sure mate, let me take a week off from work, give me two weeks to make travel arrangements and 20 hrs on a plane and I’ll be right there, shall we say 8:00?” That's just ridiculous. Or hey, why don't I give up my job and sell my home and move across the country to start a new life with someone I’ve only known online. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! So I deleted my photos and emptied my profile and filled all the fields with N/A. Then I changed my zip code to Beverly Hills 90210, like the old tv show and suddenly I started getting matches immediately, on the East Coast. This site doesn’t work. The app isn't any better. I paid 120.00 for nothing. Im not looking for a hook up and I’m easy to get along with, not expecting a fantasy come to life, pretty decent looking with a great job and in good shape physically. So it is NOT just me. I already cancelled auto renew, which I suggest anyone do immediately on any website, and the membership is paid for but I’ll still keep getting photos of cute 20 year olds that live in Mexico, even though my age filter starts at 35, until July when this farce will finally come to an end. Save your money and go on a cruise. At least you’ll get in some travel time even if you don't meet anyone.
