Lowest quality imaginable. Waste of $1.99 They also asked me for the 1.99 TWICE As it didn’t work the first time, I gave in and paid a second time. This time the north direction appeared as north east. In my opinion a con. Don’t ask for money till you know the customer is satisfied. But maybe that’s not your intention, “Mr/Ms Compass”! Bah! I want my money back. Are you willing? I’ll report back that you repaid me, here, if you do so and if I’m able.

This compass is terrible! I’m using it right now and it says I’m facing 350 degrees N when in fact I’m facing 78 degrees E. If you’re lost in the wilderness with this thing you might as well sign your death warrant!
Seems to work pretty well, but...

You are bombarded by the insidious Google ads that have permeated every place like a cancer. Google has done some great things, but is now sucking the blood out of everything it touches. App developers fall right in step. Would prefer the basic compass I have had on iphone for years, but for some unknown reason, that can’t be had on an ipad.

The app works well most of the time but it sometimes is erratic and gives several reads for the same location.
