Been using this app for a long time. Nice to see the timeline update. I only wish more of the comic artists I liked would put their comics in the app. Also, for those struggling to find a way to go back from a comic, just make sure it's back to the fullscreens comic view, then swipe up and you'll go back.

Great app. Update issue

I have had this app for years, and I was also a beta tester at one point for an update that was to support one of the iOS updates (can't remember which one though) I love reading comics on here. The one issue I would like to bring up though is with this new version, some comics that uses gifs aren't working. The past versions allowed that to work, and I hope you guys could try to fix that so we can see the creative animations that the creators make in their comics.

Gotten a lot of use out of this app. It works great, and has most comics worth checking on the regular. Through it I’ve found new comics too, like Nedroid and Wondermark. Currently have 14 comics in my favorites. Sometimes the panel recognition messes up in small ways, but you can still zoom and scroll manually so it’s no biggie. There is another recent bug where if the app is open in the background for a while and I go back to it, it just goes white and has to be restarted. But again, only mildly inconvenient.

The popover ads have sound now?

I wish I could subtract stars. Popover ads were bad enough. Now they’re playing sound at top volume. I will be so happy when I find an alternative to this godawful app.

Used to be well balanced, adverts now start to choke the app.

I didn’t mind the banner ads and loved the utility of the app. It helps toss a few coins to the artists. Which is nice. This app was great not having to go from website to website to check for new comics. They recently added slightly more intrusive pop up ads, static pictures. Ok. Fine. But just today a “loading mini game” ad popped up and took over the application with out any way to close the intrusive data hogging multimedia advert. There is a nice viable alternative method called a web browser, to go directly to the comics web pages I want... I can even use a adblocker this way and whitelist what I’m willing to put up with. I could use that and not be bothered by those aggressive mobile ads now being used in this app. App uninstalled.

A danger to your phone.

Full of malware and intrusive ads that take control of your phone and have no way out. Need to scroll down more than a couple comics? Don’t bother. Avoid this program like the plague and just check the comics on your computer. Support your favorite artists, but not through these creeps.

Bad full screen ads now

The full screen takeover ads have fake x close icons that kick you out to crappy apps on the App Store. Now I have to force quit and relaunch every few scrolls down the list. I’ll keep using the app but it’s a terrible experience now.
