Good one

Phoenix3309

That’s a good game

Shameful

Chase Rebecca

A game made completely through plagiarism. So many intellectual properties stolen and infringed upon. Hell, even the sponsors are rip offs of Five Nights at Freddie’s. This is disgusting and boasts disrespect. Terrible company. Just awful.

Awesome

The game works great

Terrible

Huge rip-off of the Calvin and Hobbes character design. Tacky gameplay, and an incredibly annoying soundtrack.

Calvin?

Slightly Irritated as well

The design for the main character seems quite similar to Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes. I played through the first 10 levels, and was pretty bored. Not bad, but also not terribly inspired gameplay, but I can see myself wasting some time at the DMV playing this or something. The UI seems pretty weird though? Why is there no settings button? I wanted to turn off the music, but could not find a way. When I tapped the sound box on the right side of the main menu it brought me to the level select screen. Once there, there’s no way to go back to the main menu. Ok, weird but I guess if there is no reason to be on the main menu (such as to turn the sound off) it doesn’t matter too much. Also when in the game, the pause button does not have any way to restart the level, it forces you to quit to the level select screen and then reselect the level you were playing. Which wastes time and there’s no reason for. And of course, again no way to get to settings from the pause menu or turn off the sounds. Overall, it’s ok.

Meh?

So off-brand Calvin and Hobbes meets the plot of Epic Mickey and the gameplay of Castle of Illusion? Alright?

Plagiarism at its worst.

I would highly suggest you update the game to remove the main character to avoid a lawsuit. Definitely not cool. As for another review regarding the same thing, unlocking another character isn't the issue. If there are others to unlock, make that the face of your game. Not someone else's work.

Yikes.

“loosely influenced by comix zone” + blatantly ripping off Calvin and Hobbes. Like the other review noted, this game gets a huge, resounding no for the character ripoff alone. Did the character designers not do *any* of their homework? The music + sfx are annoying- the 3d to 2d styles are strange and vastly inconsistent (I get the premise, but it’s not working) and honestly the main character ripoff is such a huge turnoff.

first, imwould love to know why every "free" platformer always does the thing where the character constantly moves forward and you can't control them. like classic super mario brothers lets you move left or right and the character only moves when you want them to, but all the free games always take that away from the player. it's like, "you wanna control your character? buy a premium game." to be fair, the game is challenging and it looks like effort was put into the level design. plus it seems to be not too stingy with the coins. I played for about an hour and had already earned 3000 coins which is a third of the way toward buying the ninja, which I could have doubled if i watched ads which I chose not to do. the ads are not intrusive . there are no "forced" ads. some games force you to watch an ad every 2-3 levels even if you don't want to, but this game doesn't do that. that little rant out of the way, my major complaint isn't the annoying repetitive soundtrack that plays the same song over and over and you only ever hear the first 15-20 seconds of the song. my major complaint isn't the constant repeating voiceovers "jump jump" "avoid the shark" "it's a mexico madness".."its a mexico madness"..."jump jump"..."it's a mexico madness" my major complaint is not about overly sensitive swipe controls that make you accidentally slow down or speed the character when you don't want to. my major complaint, which is also the big thing that made me rage quit is the fact that the game is a buggy mess. the hit detection is off. I'll know I cleared a jump and i die anyway. at times I'll just fall through the floor for no apparent reason. on one level, I jumped to a platform and the character got stuck in the platform running in place. the last straw was when the character ran into the wall and instead of turning aroumd and goimg the other way like he was supposed to, he walked through the wall and off the screen and then apparently fell down 2 panels and was still offscreen and the game just kept going the music kept going, the voiceovers kept repeating but the panels were frozen in place and I had to quit to level and I just got annoyed. maybe if they fix the bugs, i might raise the game to 3 stars but until then I don't need to clog up half a gigabyte of space on my device for this . . .

Shame on Apple for featuring this

Way to rip off Calvin & Hobbes. You really couldn’t come up with your own character design? Downloaded just to give one star
