I connected my new air conditioner to the app as instructed to and I kept getting the same error message about selecting the wrong network. I tried calling the customer service number provided and guess what? The number works just as well as the app. I choose this unit over another one because I liked the idea of the phone app. Wish I went with another company.

I got both my ac’s connected and had a timer set for 4:30 that way my place would have time to cool down before I got home from work since it’s been over 95 degrees the last 5 days. I checked on it after 4:30 and it’s saying neither unit is connected to WiFi and I had to delete them and add them again. VERY annoyed and I would not have bought these units if I knew how crappy the app was.

I work during the day and my house is hot when I get home. My GE Appliance app does not understand that I want the air to turn on automatically at 4pm when I am going home and run all night till 5 am when I get up. This concept isn’t a part of SkyNet’s programming and this is exactly why the machines are going to destroy humanity. P.s. when will GE finally get around to developing sex robots? Oh, wait... let’s get the timer thing squared away first guys. So dumb. China is going to win. GE! YOU MUST DO BETTER!

When purchasing my ge air conditioner, I had a peace of mind that I could monitor it away from home since I have a dog. I knew that I could watch the temperature and adjust as needed to keep him cool during current heat advisories. Now the app just crashes and doesn’t pick up the a/c. Hopefully this is resolved soon so others and myself can keep that peace of mind

I get it connected to my network but the app won’t continue past that point. Now paying extra money for garbage technology. Won’t buy another ge appliance, you only get me once.

Turning ac on and off from anywhere, monitoring energy usage, and creating schedules is perfect and exactly fits my needs.

Spent 15 minutes yesterday connecting my device. More complicated than it needs to be. This morning GE sends an email saying my “appliance has been removed” and now I have to reconnect everything again? No explanation why, just letting me know I wasted my time yesterday. Not worth the time or effort to try again
