Not responsive to bug reports

BradGess

When I try to submit a big report from the app, the app crashes so I can’t submit a bug report. I raised this as an issue on the Github repo but got no response. Sadly this application feels abandoned, despite having so much potential. Hopefully the distributor fixes the broken windows and shows signs of caring about the app.

The best GitHub app so far

jonrh

I've seen a few and this app is the most complete. The app is open source and hosted on GitHub itself with over 10,000 stars. There are a few quirks here and there but the best way I've found to keep tabs on things: what are my followees starring, what repositories are they creating & forking, what repos are trending (last 1D/7D/30D) overall and in a specific language as well.

Notifications need improvement

Slars0n

Decent, but surprising that clicking on a notification on an issue opens the app only into the entire issues list instead of bringing up the issue in the notification. Pretty frustrating to go find the issue again from a long list...

This app is ? amazing!

Poppy_Raj

No ads. Open Source. No restrictions for open source repositories. This app does *everything* I’ve wanted it to do. It’s 80% intuitive. About 20% is a learning curve that you instantly adjust to. Pro tip: the Follow and Watch options are hidden in the Share button in the upper right. It’s not where I would put them — but Apple also puts a ton of options in the Share button (think Safari). I was hesitant when I first saw the currently 3.5 star rating. But then I realized that the guys giving bad reviews are Enterprise punks who eat ? for breakfast and now hate how everything tastes? Unless you’re an IT goon, then any self respecting developer should prefer Gogs or GitLab as open source solutions for their repositories at work. No phone app for those? Then stop doing work on your phone and watch Netflix with your girlfriend. Or rely on email notifications. If you must ruin your work/life balance at home using Github Enterprise on your phone, then this is the app for you — cough over your ? and ?

Great. ?

Thanks for fixing the bugs

The Best Git Client

Xian, Lord of Worlds

Of all the iOS git clients I've tried (and I've tried em all), this one stands out as the most feature rich. It does everything you could need, is open source, ad free, and easy enough to use ? I particularly like the rich selection of syntax highlighters to choose from, very nice touch. I wish there was a dark mode though.

Can't login

XenonXYZA

Unfortunately, I can't even login to the app because the authorize button is always grayed out.

Awesome app!

This app really comes in handy when working with other people on a project. You can see when they commit and push to the repo and you can get push notifications. Integrating the graph feature, especially the network graph would do this app wonders.

Love it
