free version too limited

VersionTwenty

Only allows for access to public repositories in the free version. No thanks.

No private repositories

Looks really nice and works perfectly fine if you only need public repos in the free version.

I entered my user credentials with email/password then username/password (verified with my keychain that the info is correct) and im getting an error stating I don't have permission to access that resource. Please fix this.

No private repos?

Eric Baranowski

Uhh....for starters, the app is open source...if you support open source software, then I would imagine the only reason you have a private repo to begin with is to protect some valuable proprietary code. Code that is either making you money or has the potential to, in which case, if you're profiting, so should the developer. Secondly, you can easily use this devs bitbucket app to access private repos. Thirdly, private repo access is like $3 compared to Working Copy's $14.99, which is also required to push PUBLIC repos. Fourthly (sp?) - This app is freely available on github....if you want free access to private repos, then go do it yourself. He was generous enough to make the code available. Ok I think my point is made. As a side note, I have no idea who this developer is and I have zero affiliation with him.

Pretty good.

Doesn't support all the functionality available on desktop, but it's enough to get by when you're not at a PC. However, I appreciate that the app's source code is on Github, because I can just use this app to make bug reports. :D

Switch account bug fixed

Great to use it again

Doesn't save edited source code

Thanks for the quick fix, works perfectly now. Did my first commit from my iPhone and worked like a charm. This is THE GitHub app you need. Well done.

Good

I got this working with my org and private repos. The interface is a little clunky but it is a complicated interface to try to program. The app seems to work well and is laid out pretty well. It didn't have all the info I wanted to see on the pull request like what branches are involved in the pull request so I probably won't be using it much since that was what I was hoping would be there. But the app looks like it does a good job of being a small screen tool for github for the most part.

Unresponsive support

Former Life is Crime player

Extra star because the app used to work. Multiple organizations no longer supported. Tried contacting support but never received a response. Rebought and reinstalled the app without success.

Useless

deus ex machina

Random update notifications hours after they happen (but not all of them, only some notifications get sent, even on the same PR!), repositories, poor navigation between sections. I can’t imagine anyone actually using this to be productive. GitHub’s mobile site is probably a better bet.
