Subscriptions for a cocktail app?!?

I would happily pay a one time fee for this app. Paying for the quality and ease of use would be well worth it. But $4 a month or $20 a year makes no sense when I can just go buy a $10 drinks book and never have to pay again.
I’m willing to pay, just not for a subscription

How many cocktails could possibly be continually invented that I would need to pay $3/mo or $20/yr? I would definitely pay $20 once because it’s a well designed app so 4 stars.

Does this app really warrant a subscription model? Bad choice. Won’t be using this app anymore.

The app used to have all the recipes viewable but now you need to pay to view most of them. I am deleting the app because I can look online for a recipe for free.
Subscriptions are the death of good apps!

I used to love this app until they introduced the subscription and now recipes i even had favorited are behind a paywall! Incredibly unfortunate because the app is extremely well put together. I would much rather have an ad supported version than subscriptions. I would easily pay 15-30$ for this app upfront instead! If your on the old version don’t upgrade!!!

Any cocktail app that has an Aviation in the classic recipe section with a photo of a purple drink, but no creme de violette in the actual recipe, isn’t worth my time. Not to mention it calls for gin rather than London dry gin? Basically terrorists.

What was once a useful app is now just another sad reduction in content. Terrible waste of space.
