Update killed app

empyrean3k

All functionality was lost with latest update on an effort to push premium paid subscription.

What happened to My Longe?

speedDemon9

What happened to My Lounge? Totally gone after recent App update. That was the only reason to have the app on one’s phone. Thumbs down man!!

Nice app but too expensive

Rebelboat

Was great before update but now you need to buy a subscription to get a full list of drinks. Can get info for free anywhere but nice to have it all in one place. However $20 a year is a complete rip off. I’d pay $20 once maybe as it is a nice app but the information is available for free anywhere if you go looking.

Update was a downgrade

Recently updated the app to the new version. My lounge is now assistant. Before the upgrade the app listed dozens of drinks that I had the ingredients to make, now it lists only 4.

Hate it when developers get greedy

That Westside Guy

So with Cocktail Flow’s latest version the developers want you to subscribe. Nothing wrong with that, in theory. But now, unless you subscribe, you won’t have access to a number of the recipes which were previously in the app! My daughter’s favorite - the alcohol-free Designated Appletini - gone! French Gimlet - bye-bye! And that’s just what I noticed after 30 seconds. This app never had that big a selection of cocktails... and now it’s even smaller. Yeah, that’s gonna encourage me to give these guys 5 bucks a month. You should probably look elsewhere at this point. There are much better-known cocktail apps containing significantly more recipes which only ask you to pay once - go with one of those.

Too Expensive

Boontoon

Was having a blast trying new cocktails every week with this app. Unfortunately, the new update wants you to pay a ridiculous price to see the majority of the recipes now. Guess I’m back to looking cocktails up online. Would have gladly paid in the beginning for the app but not $5 month

What happened to the smoothies?

mmarcosm

It is very disappointing that these type of drinks were removed :(. Apart from that I still love the app.

Do not update!!!!

bunburysky

Update introduces premium (paid) option. Some recipes are free, most require subscription. They say more recipes were added, but many that were available previously are now blocked under the premium subscription. This FREE app is now less useful. New interface is also more complicated than last.

Do not update if you have an older version

b48733

From the comments it sounds like they removed drink recipes unless you pay 5 per month for them.

Used to be great... and free. $5? No thanks

$5 a month for what used to be free? No thanks
