Strategy

I love this game to spend my time because it is very mindful of strategy and will punish you if you do not do it correctly, but will let you retry it

This is basically just pixel dungeon but uglier and worse. Try pixel dungeon if you like this game at all

Awesome, but too easy.

Fun concept for a strategy game of moving and attacking at the same time your opponents do. Minus one star for being too easy. I completed the story mode on the hardest difficulty with little trouble, and the challenge levels took about 30 minutes to beat.

Close to perfection

Really enjoying the game. Rouge-like puzzles are so hit or miss but Cobalt Dungeon is spot on, as far as gameplay is concerned. However, although I understand balancing difficulty and ad revenue can be troublesome, allowing the player to restart the room infinitely is a bit much. It really takes away from the rouge-like feel. Possibly limit the amounts of possible restarts to one per shop visit. So, you’d get to die, restart the room after an ad, but if you die in the room/ever again, your next restart has to be at the shop. Rouge-likes need setback mechanics that cannot be forced through by watching ads. Still really enjoy the gameplay. Hope there is more to come. I’ll change my review to 5 stars should the infinite redos change.

Seems great so far

I haven’t been playing long, but since the game prompted me to leave a review then why not. I’ve played through all the tutorials and have started a game on easy. So far the game plays well. I’ve been enjoying how it feels to have to strategically navigate around a room swarming with enemies that you have to kill without taking hits. In short, it feels like a game that is easy to learn, but hard to master.

Great game. No ads option?

This is a fun crossover between puzzle & roguelike that hits a sweet spot for playability and one-handed mobile interface. I don’t want ads though! Is there an option to purchase an ads-free version? Thanks!
