What’s “trending” isn’t always what’s interesting. The app lacks any customization of the types of stories you see. The app gives you a grade based on the number of stories you’ve read as though we want an app to grade us. The grade should be viewed by Cnet as an indicator of the quality of the stories they selected for us.

The app is decent but half the time it’s launched it won’t open because of a supposed network connectivity issue - whether over wifi or cellular. Been going on for over a year now. Ironic that a company of tech experts can’t make a functional iOS app.

They have two apps on the store, they both show the same stale news. Awful.
