My studio just got the rights for student accounts after 2 years of being with CLI and using it during classes...I love taking classes you really learn a lot because you are learning from some of the best industry professionals out there...I’ve really been able to grow and step out of my comfort zone with these classes (especially the live ones during the coronavirus pandemic)

Love the variety, but. You aren’t allowed to rewind or fast forward through routines. We were struggling to get a few steps and everytime we tried to go back we are forced to watch the promo trailer. I shouldn’t be forced feed advertising for a program I’ve already purchased!
They need a mirror!

1) Content: This app needs to prioritize the learning of student dancers and need to have a mirror in front of the stage, at least make an option to view the videos in mirror mode. The content might work for their Instagram posts, but is truly user- unfriendly. 2) The app needs to improve basic functionalities. - Option to Chromecast: for people who don’t have Apple TV or cables. - *very important* Option to create the shortlist of videos on mobile. (At least “my favorite” “watch later”functions are required). - Better curation of life content so that users don’t have to swipe all cards before going into content.

There are a variety of dance genres such as hip hop, ballet, contemporary, etc. but I do wish there were more styles. What I mean is there is both modern and classic styles but I feel like it can expand more. When I was first introduced to CLI, I saw a person named Hamilton Evans and recognized him from another company called millennium. But I only found one choreography. He normally does very quick paced kind of "sexy" hip hop and I enjoyed participating in his classes and thought "hey I wanna do those classes again" and checked out he video. It was not what I expected.

I love this app it strengthens my knowledge and ability’s as a 8 year dancer (haven’t been on CLI for 8 years) Idk, why people are giving bad reviews... I mean like if you have a problem about one teacher or, their studios my advice FIND A NEW APP! Like come on how are you gonna have a problem with one teacher or a studio!! That is in my opinion not something to write a review about... well I use this everyday I am loving it! Ok, that is all for my review! I can’t wait to start another lesson oh, yeah and y’all I AM NOT A BOT GIVING A GOOD REVIEW!!! FYI!! Okie so keep up the great work!!

There is nothing useful for beginners and they are not client friendly. There are better options. Do not bother with this app/service.
Wish I’d never signed up

They only offer an annual subscription, not monthly, and don’t offer prorated refunds so even if you cancel within a day you are stuck for the whole years fee!

I did not want to sign up for the annual subscription but this company will not issue a refund to me. The app didnt allow me to cancel before my card was charged, despite the messaging system in the app to make requests/inquiries. I have made multiple requests through email to refund my money for this subscription that I did not want to commit to after the 7 day trial. I have not received a reply after my last 2 emails and I am highly disappointed that I even gave this app a chance in the first place. Dont sign up for the free trial without planning to pay for it no matter what.
Missing one big feature

I love the classes and the app is functional, if a bit clunky. But it’s missing the ability to cast video via Chromecast, which is a standard feature for most video apps now. I’m crossing my fingers that CLI studios will implement it soon.
