Clear Lists is free iOS app published by Impending, Inc.

Been using this for over a year. Its good

A simple to do list manager to throw things into buckets. Then you can complete the items. No chk boxes massive text etc. simply slide right to complete. One bad thing recently is randomly when i hit Done when editing an existing item it will completely disappear. Its not in the done list although when it does this weird behavior it scrolls the list to the end of the done list. Not good because sometimes I accidentally tap an item and without seeing what it is I by habit hit Done and poof What Got Deleted!?

Great app - zero support

sluing14

This is a great app unfortunately there is no support. I have reached out twice via email as directed on the site as I am having sync problems with icloud. The lists are not staying in sync across devices. Just look at the developer site. It mentions emailing about this problem. It goes to “impending.com” not realmac. It should be impending doom. No matter how good it looks if it won’t sync it is worthless. Before spending the money I should have looked.

CLEARly Amazing!

I got this app a few years ago as a free download from Starbucks, and since then, I use it for my grocery lists, Christmas lists, and birthday lists. Unfortunately, I had it on my husband’s iCloud account. Due to issues with the account, he stopped sharing. I tried other list apps to avoid having to buy it. Nothing else comes close to CLEAR. I live how you swipe the item, and it gets dim, others don’t do that. Needless to say, I bought Clear. The only thing I would change is when copying a list from a text, each [enter/carriage return] would put the item on a separate line/bar. I get a lot of lists from my husband and copy/paste the items one at a time, so I can swipe each one once I get it.

Near perfect

Looking forward to expanded themes and alternate app icons in coming version. Hoping current version will be preserved like Castro’s (podcast player) first iteration remains as separate download on app store. Really excellent software.

Great App, medium problems

Tommy_Canada

I love the feel and layout to this app. I can organize and see my individual lists in a simple way. BUT it is missing 1 big thing and has 1 minor annoyance. It is missing the ability to have daily repeating lists. If you don’t intend to have everyday repeating things on this app, then ignore this part and see the annoyance below. However I have a daily list for the things I need/want to accomplish every common day, but I can’t mark each item complete or I’ll have to retype them tomorrow. Why can’t I set daily repeating reminders for the same time for at least 1 list?! I just don’t touch my daily list, I look at it and it’s ordered how I go about it and I just have to know what is and isn’t done. The annoyance....I like the dark purple theme, it looks great on my lists. But my upper tier list (the list of your lists) doesn’t follow that theme, that tier is ugly bright yellow/orange that I can’t read well, so I can’t use the purple theme on my lower lists because of its opposite effect on the upper tier. If the theme I choose isn’t going to be universal across all my lists, then let me at least change the other tier theme to something else. The dark themes are the only ones that stay constant on both tiers. I’ll stick with boring black or noir until that’s fixed....

please port to watch

Just ok

They don’t fix bugs for iPhone X. Used to be ok, now very frustrating.

Frustrating

User_C6638

Keeps scrolling to the bottom. In the latest version, and for the last couple of months, every time I swipe to reactivate a previously completed item (the striked-through, grayed out) the list scrolls to the bottom. Its very frustrating to keep playing the game of reactivating items, having the list scroll to the bottom, and then scrolling back to the top again. It happens randomly it seems, so I cannot think that this is a feature. The bug’s been present for a while now. Running the latest version of iOS, on an iPhone Xs, and on AT&T. List has about 50 items, with the default (red to yellow) theme.

iCloud sync does not work anymore

Long time user but had to replace it

Broken iCloud Syncing after years of uninterrupted use.

Unfortunately here sometime within the last 2 months iCloud syncing has stopped. Now every time I launch Clear I’m reminded that this functionality is no longer working. Which I mean given that this app has been on my devices for awhile and has always synced across them without issue is a bit of a let down. I’ve removed the app from my devices until they get this remedied.
