Merge from Multiple Sources does not work

I purchased the upgrade to merge duplicate contacts from multiple sources (gmail,iCloud,exchange) and that feature does not work. I opened a case with support and they confirmed that it is not working but, “their team is working to resolve it”. If they get it fixed I will adjust my review but, for now I see this as a bait and switch tactic.

I had years and years of contacts across multiple iterations of iPhones and Androids. Kudos to the developer for providing the option to dedupe across my multiple combined sources, i.e. Google, iCloud, etc. Lots of flexibility in settings for tweeking the dupe criteria. And being able to review the merge candidates before committing was a big plus. Very happy with the outcome. The result is a contact list that is free of dupes and about 75% shorter.

Didn’t catch all the duplicates, caught most. Didn’t sync iPhone and iPad. Maybe have to restart first. In any case it could be more informative about the above.

The app does not recognize and eliminate duplicates as it claims to do. When I sent a message to the company saying that they responded that this is a “known problem”!
Warning - did significant harm

The app analyzed my address book, and upon selecting merge, increased the duplicates in my address book. I’ve gone from 5k to well over 8k contacts in two attempts (each “merge” action by this app increased duplicates). Obviously stay away.

I had hundreds of duplicates and while it did merge SOME of them I still had to go through the painstaking process of manually merging/deleting duplicates for 20 min. Not worth $2.
Paid and it didn’t work

Charged me $2, app crashed, and after several minutes waiting to merge duplicate contacts it did NONE as advertised. Lost $2 and time.
