The only things that will make this app better are more content and an ipad version. I suspect both will be added soon. It's a breakthrough app and now my main source of everyday news. Also, customer service is great!
Brilliant - where podcasts and radio are headed

I've promoted this app to my home screen. I started using it as a utility to share teasers of my podcast to Facebook and Twitter. Over time, I got hooked on the listening experience. I love streaming clips without the need to plan and subscribe. If I hear something that I love, I can dive in or save for later by liking it; otherwise Clammr just moves on without me having to do anything.
Perfect for my commute and when vegging out

I fire up clammr on my commute. Love that I can customize and also go back later to share the most interesting stuff with friends. It actually has become a bit addictive outside of my commute vegging out and just listening to a constant slide show .... Brings me back to when I was a kid
Shows are just readings of short articles

The shows are just voiceovers of short, general news articles. They literally are 10 seconds and they don't provide hardly any information at all. There's no variety either, it's the same guy on all the shows.

Handy Podcasting Tool

The difficulty of a small podcast to grow a following or convince potential listeners to try us out is high because of the initial time investment in listening. My cohost and I were looking for ways to integrate short soundbytes to highlight what we were about in a quick, digestible way. Clammr has been a wonderful tool in getting our voices out there, effortlessly into Twitter and Facebook, so our stuff is easily seen and heard. Go check out some stuff out there if you're still on the fence, cause it's really a useful tool.

I don't do a lot of reviews. God knows the developers deserve the praise. iPhone is. nothing without the apps. Clammr is no exception. I run a podcast at Voices.FILM and I like using audio clips intermixing with our dialogue. So I start using this app last week, see I can make audio clips using any audio file on the phone. Then I see you could push those clips out to social networks. And suddenly the possibilities were endless. It's excellent. The embeds look sleek. Work very well. One slight request, if you will: Higher bit rate and sample rate options. And, add your own cover art. However, I think that's in the apps future pipeline anyway.
