I’m treating this app as an audio Pinterest where I’m collecting my favorite moments. I love that I get a public web landing page to share so that my friends don’t have to download the app just to checkout my soundbites. Also, I can’t say enough about the team. The are always on top of my questions and truly care about their users.

A gift from the podcast gods

Clammr got me up out of my new podcaster blues. It’s become my go-to for promoting my show and increasing my audience. They got the obvious – but brilliant – insight that even if a podcast is in audio, the places where people learn about and discover it are not necessarily audio. So, they created a tool that automatically lets me make my podcast soundbites pop on twitter and facebook with animations and even GIFs. I’m into podcasting for the long term and know that success comes from sustained effort and providing something great to my listeners. This is not a silver bullet that is going to take me to the top of the charts overnight, but as a new podcaster it’s made a huge difference in giving me more reach on social media. Also, the team behind the app is amazing. They always send detailed responses to questions and even created a user reference guide collecting all of their tips

Smart way for me to promo my music on twitter and facebook. I can’t afford to make a video, but this app lets me mash up my music with a GIF to create sweet vids. It has definitely made a difference with people calling me out for my mashups

They quietly put in CarPlay this week. I Just got a Honda Civic and and loving the CarPlay integration. Smart move to make the forward button also launch the full content

I can't speak highly enough of this app! I love hearing these great moments of various podcasts that I never knew existed before. Whenever i'm in the mood to listen to something new, i open up clammr, let it play until i hear something interesting, then tap to listen to the full podcast episode! You can even create and share your own audio clips from the podcasts you're listening to! (admittedly I have not tried this feature out yet...I just like knowing that it's here though) ? This is my new favorite app!! I listen to it whenever I'm in the car, taking a walk, or doing errands. It's a great way to stay entertained even when your hands are tied!!!
