Obsessed with CivRev 2 on iPad Pro 2020

I’ve been playing civ games for years, and was surprised that my old Civilization Revolution 2 still functions on my new iPad Pro, but it works like a dream. Fast. Smooth. Fun. Civ Rev 2 is a perfect short game for those who like strategy games but don’t want to spend hours. The graphics are simple but vivid and dynamic — with just enough detail and animation — to be engaging without being tiresome. 5 stars and three cheers for this 12 year old game on iPad OS 13. It’s better than a lot of new games.

I don’t know how true civilization friends can get into this it’s too linear in it’s gameplay it feels more like a pocket civ game rather than a nice addition to the franchise

I’ve spent many hours on this game and I love it. My only wish is that there be a feature that allows the technology to stop advancing at a certain age to allow players/AI to go past say medieval tech. If this feature already exists please let me know. Thanks for a great game!!
The AI cheats like crazy

I’m not even done with my turn yet, and the game just interrupts my turn and lets the AI attack. It gives the AI way too many advantages. It’s fun when it’s challenging, but it’s not fun when you lose because the AI cheats. Such a waste of money! Don’t get it. It’s not worth $5.

Considering this is civilization on your phone, it’s great. You can’t expect desktop gameplay and depth on a mobile device. PLAYS OFFLINE ??????????
