Perfect App for Cinephiles (movie lovers)!!!

My parents' favorite child!

My friend sent me an invite to Cinetext and I’m glad I decided to try it out! All my friends have this app and they all love it. I follow Cinetext on Twitter and also subscribe to their movie trailer on YouTube which really complements the app. I have no complaints. I heard the upcoming update will let you connect with other Cinetext users without them having to be on your phone’s contact list, and I can’t wait. We’ll be able to connect with other users who share our tastes in movies and I think that’s genius. I also heard they’re adding a user bio along and “@usernames” like on Twitter and Instagram, which will make it easier to find people. Another review described Cinetext as a breath of fresh air and I couldn’t agree more. I live in the kind of small town that rarely gets live performance acts, so the movie theater is the place to be. Cinetext adds a lot of value to the price of the movie ticket because you get so much more out of each and every trip to the movie theater. You will love this app. You can try it out for 30 days FREE do you have nothing to lose. If you decide to keep it it’s ONLY $0.99 A YEAR!!! NO ADS!!! A marvelous app at a very reasonable price. You can’t do better than that! I give it 5 stars, 10/10, and A+++!!! Get it!!!

Weird.

This app sounds great! Too bad they were so hung up by a bit of twitter back and forth that I was blocked for some reason. They use twitter bots to write all their reviews and support on social media who also blocked me. I never even tweeted them! Not everyone is going to like you and I am sorry ??‍♀️

Essentials: Ticket, popcorn, soda, & Cinetext.

I really love Cinetext. It’s one of those apps that you don’t know you absolutely need until the day you find out it exists, like Shazam or Dropbox. After that you can’t live without it. Cinetext is for people who really love movies. The red theater seat in the icon is a stroke of genius because nothing is more representative of a moviegoer than the red seat you sit in the entire time. Clever! My wife and me can now go out to a dinner and a movie without worrying about the kids, the sitter also has the app. Best of all is we are no longer limited to sitting in the isle seats, which we did in case we had to go out in the hallway to rely to a text from the sitter. Now we can sit in the center seats and reply to a text without having to get up and leave. I recommend this app to new parents, it gives you the much needed peace of mind. Worry free. The app’s interface makes this possible on account that it’s wonderfully discreet. Cinetext does not encourage people to text, it only encourages those who are going to do it anyway to at least use the apps messenger so they don’t disturb other people. That’s great! The coolest thing about Cinetext is this, when you download it you just think “hm, what a nice app.” But then when you’re sitting at the movie theater for example to check in, you see it in a whole new light. The entire app suddenly makes sense. It’s as if it comes to life in the environment it was designed for. I’ve never experienced that with any other app. Neat! There’s just so much to this app, now I see why a lot of these reviews are long winded, but in a good way. Don’t even get me started on it’s other features like letting you friend other moviegoers who like the exact same types of movies as you because I will be here all day. I love this app so much I’ve sent out hundreds of invites and still do. Cinetext gets a well deserved 5-star rating from me. Thanks for reading this.

All-in-one app for movie junkies!

I've had cinetext for a few months and adore it. My parents run a movie theater so I'm always there. Pretty good chance I watch more movies in a year than most movie critics. :P Cinetext has all the necessary things for people who enjoy the movies, including a personal history of movies you see over time. I have 15 movies in my timeline to date, including re-released classics like Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The Iron Giant, & Terminator 2. Cinetext's customer support is off the charts. I had an issue after updating to iOS 11. Even though we figured out early on the problem was with my phone's settings and not the app, customer support at cinetext walked me through several troubleshooting techniques until my phone was fixed. That level of tech support and customer care is as rare as unicorns. (Apple's customer support is like that, too.) Kudos! Highly recommend!

Amazing! Teen approved!

Why hasn't this app been featured?! All we see in the App Store is more of the same. Switch your focus to featuring original apps and do the world a favor by introducing them to Cinetext! A social networking app for moviegoers, you say? Yes please! Even though Cinetext is designed for moviegoers, it is very popular in my high school for a very different reason. We're able to text during class without the teacher noticing. We watch at least one movie in my science class roughly every 2 weeks. As soon as the lights go out, Cinetext comes out. To see just how amazingly discreet this app is, do this test: 1. Open any app and take a screenshot, 2. Open Cinetext and take a screenshot, 3. Open your photo gallery, and tap on either of the two screenshots to enlarge them, 4. Go into your bathroom, 5. Stand in front of the mirror, 6. shut the door, 7. shut the lights, 8. Standing in front of the mirror, bring the phone up to your face like you're face-timing, 9. Look at your reflection as you slide back and forth between the two screenshots. The difference is amazing. Cinetext does not emit a glow from white light because the app maximizes the color black and only uses minimal amounts of warm colors. The old-timey way was to pass notes in class. Now we just use Cinetext. Haha! A more appropriate name for this app is ninjatext. Haha! Cool app.

Very happy with the app

I was skeptical at first. You should never use a phone in a theater but... it comes in handy. I took my 2 year old niece to her first movie and if i wasn’t able to keep tabs with my sister via text (she had a mini break down) I would of had to leave mid movie. This app allowed me to not interrupt the other movie goers and that was great. So thank you Cinetext @Col3alllen

Great Customer Service and app

I want to say that it is nice in this day and age to be able to chat with developers and the company on developing features. @shopwithbubbles

Great App

I've used Cinetext for a few months now and I am very pleased with the app. It is a great way to quickly share what movie you are seeing with friends by "checking in" on Facebook and Twitter. The interface is easy to use and the dim red/black look is nice for quickly using the app in a dark theater, without irritating people around you. A feature that I like is the "LED light" option that brightens your screen just a bit so it can be easier for friends to spot you if they arrive a little late. (the feature mimics those lights theater employees have). The Cinetext team are also very committed to making the best app possible. It is refreshing to see their constant presence on Twitter. They discuss app updates, technical issues, and post fun polls occasionally. @Andrew_Lewis120
