Excited!!!!!

Starting to hate this app

I had signed up for email notifications for this app and I'm so excited to have an app like this! My favorite feature will probably be checking in and networking, but the dark screen is fantastic on your eyes. Three problems: 1) I was just at the Alamo Drafthouse and when I tried to check in, it didn't show up. Maybe try adding all of the drafthouses and local theatres too? 2) The keyboard registers super slowly so I have to text way slower than usual. It's a little frustrating and I make a lot more errors because of it. 3) The notifications stay even after I've opened a message, I have to manually dismiss them. I hope this can be fixed because I had the same issue with Discord and I don't use it because of that. Regardless, I'm super excited to see where this app goes!!

I LOVE this app! My favorite features are 1. Chat 2. The privacy mode in chat. It's super cool! 3. The timeline of movies I see at the cinema with movie posters are in HD. You can enlarge them by tapping once. 4. The icons. 5. Friend tagging. 6. Check ins linked to my Facebook and Twitter accounts. Every screen has a brightness control independent of one another. Nice touch! All in all Cinetext does exactly what it says it does and more. The black design and icons in warm colors are like eye candy. I'm using this baby for more than just texting at the movies. It's perfect for texting in the dark. We go to the movies once or twice every couple of months but just about every weekend during summer. The one thing that becomes abundantly clear right away is that this app was made either by people who really really love the movies, or by people who spent a whole lot of time doing research from the point of view of the people using it. Either way, this app is fun, useful, and very well thought out. They thought of everything and did a super job. For example, if you have ever dropped anything during a movie and had a hard time finding it in the dark, you will love this app's LED light which you can set to red or amber light. Another example, while seeing CHiPs last night I noticed my girlfriend having trouble finding our seats after returning from the bathroom. I set the red LED to about 1/3 brightness and waved my phone in a small circular motion to try to get her attention. It worked! It turns out she could not see me because her eyes were still adjusting to the dark, but she was able to see the red screen right away. Cinetext is ESSENTIAL to every phone. It's much more than text messaging. If you enjoy going to the movies you will enjoy this app. And this is only v1.0! Yes! :)

The Check in feature is fun! I like that it saves your Check ins to your history and that movie posters are in hd. Ghost in the Shell poster looks killer! The privacy mode in the chat screen is awesome! I like that I can chat with my friends during a movie without pissing anybody off. The alerts are subtle pulses that can't be heard even by someone sitting next to me. This app is cool for groups of friends who go see movies together. Why talk during the movie when you can just chat without drawing attention to yourself? I see why they say that Cinetext is designed for people who text at the movies but also for people who don't. People that text, can , and people that don't are not bothered by something they can't see. Smart app!

I think this is great, not because I *want* to text, but in case I *need* to text during a movie or performance. This makes leaving the kids with a sitter bearable since I won't disturb anyone with the app's black screens when I check my phone. The color scheme is great, visible to me, but not to others. It's also cool because you can check-in and share on Facebook, and then go back and rate the movie and share that, too. Cinetext makes going to the movies more enjoyable.

This app is amazing! REAL WORLD PROBLEM: People texting in movie theaters. SOLUTION: Cinetext - perfectly designed app precisely for texting in theaters. People sitting next to you could be texting on this app and you won't know it. If anything, they will appear to be texting while the phone is turned off. Sounds funny, I know. This app is a stroke of genius that's worthy of a 1st Place ribbon, and here's why: It's 2017, people WILL text, regardless of where they're at, including the seat next to you in a movie theater. Confronting them, or worse, running off and telling on them, can easily lead to a much bigger problem. Cinetext solves this problem single-handedly while at the same time returns movie theaters to what they once were: A peaceful happy place.

I don't go to the movies that often, but when I do I can see this coming in very handy! I can see this being very useful for younger people who use their phones a lot more in movies!

I love the look of the app and the idea of it. I agree paying might not be the best option and would prefer free but it is inexpensive so we will see. I am excited to see how this will grow and change. @BC_Author

Finally, a useful app that solves a real world problem, and includes a feature set no moviegoer should be without! At $0.99 a year Cinetext is a bargain (should be priced higher in my opinion)! If you enjoy the experience of going to the movies, you will love this app! Cinetext gets better with every update! Great job guys!
