I loved it

golimites

I like the whole thing except that there is not a lot of levels. So please add more levels or a chapter 2

Cute but

Birdy24eva

Update: I finished the game & its same the same all the way through as a few other reviewer’s stated, it’s more like a cartoon your watching, also kind of short compared to the other games.. It’s a good game, but.. I thought it would be more challenging & engaging like the other IOS games so I didn’t hesitate to buy it. I noticed it says ages 4 & up, well now I know why, it definitely feels more like a kids game to me. I wish I had waited before purchasing this one to make sure it was like the games I love to play, Botanica is still my favorite, I love how you can interact with every object whereas in this game you kinda poke & have 2 or 3 choices, & that feel like a challenge to me I guess.

Compared to the rest not good

8rittknee

I have played all of the games this creator has made and this one comparatively to the rest is not good. The art is wonderful, but for length and difficulty it was a major disappointment. I will say I usually love the games made here.

? Comedy gold!?

Jace O'brien

This game is super funny it is the funniest game I ever saw is so awesome!! But there is one minor thing though: some of the levels don’t use hints. I mean I love the game but it’s kind of a little bit harder, Also the Tetris one has bombs, though Tetris doesn’t have bombs, also the game made me laugh!!!????????, and it blew my mind ?, I hope there’s a sequel too.

Lacks the story and internal logic I expected from Amanita

Sluggirl

I adored Botanicula and enjoyed Amanita’s previous games for the colorful, imaginative, densely layered worlds, unusual characters and unbelievable levels of environmental interactivity. Each of their created universes has its own logic, and that logic holds up throughout each game. Perhaps I am being unfair and Amanita is a victim of my overly-high expectations, but I was not impressed with and did not much enjoy CHUCHEL. CHUCHEL lacks this intuitive aspect, this internal logic: it feels like a large part of the game involves touching the screen randomly until something happens, and eventually you figure out what needs to be done to progress to the next level. While there is some clever mimicry of other games in certain levels (one of the better levels requires winning mocked-up versions of Mario Brothers and Pac-man), I didn’t feel a sense of cohesion from level to level, which made the game lack narrative heft. Without a storyline or character that I really cared for, and without puzzles that had an internal logic, a lot of the game felt random, disjointed, and childish. And while one might try to force a deeper meaning onto it (the repeated efforts to retrieve one’s lost cherry as a quest to regain innocence?), overall it’s unfortunately just not an interesting, engaging game. Like many of the other reviewers I feel bad leaving a less-than-enthusiastic review, but in spite of the visual appeal, the gameplay itself was just not compelling.

Cute, but not worth the money

J Janei

It’s cute, but definitely not worth the money.

Oh my God it’s amazing

khgjdjclgjxjktdykfkhf

I remember when the skin came out last year but when I found out it was for App Store immediately I bought the game it’s just amazing and I was still obsessed with it last year it’s just amazing and adorable and kind of weird but it’s amazing

Add More Levels Please

hey Creators!!

A beautifully created game and quite hilarious!!! I loved it until I noticed that there are only a few levels and I spent $5 on this which is a lot for an app with only a few levels....please make more! It was challenging and entertaining...but seriously make more levels!!! This is truly disappointing!

Omg!!!!

Bawesome1111

For those who love pick-up and play games that are absolutely weird, this game is absolutely for you!!!

Boring and Repetitive

Diblasio82

If randomly touching the screen in order to execute too long and uninterruptible animation sequences that are cute for only about three seconds sounds like a good time to you...then you will definitely get your money’s worth out of this!
