Where’s black chuchel?

Chuchel is black not orange

Delightful

What I love most about this game is that it’s impossible to know what’s coming next. Every scene is so bizarre and random. More an interactive cartoon than a game, but the laughs make it worth it.

Delightful little weirdo game

Chuchel is not Samorost3 the same way Ponyo is not Spirited Away. If you come to Chuchel expecting to be immersed in an epic, you will be disappointed. If you come expecting silliness, odd little puzzles, goofy games, and some quality weirdness, you will be pleasantly rewarded. I enjoyed Chuchel start to finish, though I was a little disappointed I couldn’t make wee Chuchel exit through the god-character’s butt. If you’re new to Amanita games, play Botanicula & Chuchel, then Machinarium, then the Samarosts. ?

I wish time machines were real

Because I would procure one to go back to a time when I never knew this frustrating game existed. I’m just tapping away at the screen like a moron - unsure of when my taps will perhaps translate to some tangible action on the part of Mr. C. I rarely dish money out on these apps for myself. But I went out on a limb and thought hey, give it a chance. I’m not saying all the apps are bad. I’m saying this one is the worst example of deviant miscreant illogic and has me wanting to gauge my own eyes out. I mean all of it. It’s got terrible flow. You just don’t know what your purpose is in this ugly little fella’s life.

I have played all of the Amanita games. Samorost 3 is one of my all time favorite games. I loved Machinarium, though I did encounter some annoying bugs, and Botanicula is a classic. This game however is not up to par. The music and sound is very reminiscent of Loco Roco a cute PSP game from a decade ago. The artwork is quaint and fun so I gave it two stars. The gameplay is flat. I really wanted to love this game. I really had to force myself to finish it so that I didn’t throw money out the window. It just never quite got off the ground. In the beginning I had high hopes as you fly through a series of cute critters in space. When I came to the gelatin on the plate level and had to suffer through the ridiculously boring rock em, sock em robot level I realized there was no saving this game. I feel bad giving it a bad review because I want to support good developers but this game is just lacking on so many levels. Skip this and replay Samorost 3.

For kids
Cae_tx

I was expecting this to be like the other games they’ve produced that I’ve enjoyed. It’s definitely for kids. I was bored and stopped playing it pretty soon after starting. Would be great for kids though. I should have waited for the reviews first.

like an interactive Saturday Morning cartoon

Amanita has significantly upped the cartoon animation effort on this game. Quite amusing. The puzzles are typically baroque.
