I am really enjoying this. Very strange approach to music for this uneducated ear but I am learning and making connections already. I don't know if I will achieve perfect pitch but if my understanding off sic deepens I will be very happy. Thanks.

Stop claiming you came up with this wonderful new idea when the guy who invented the shepards tone is still alive and won international science awards in physics and social sciences, go visit him at Stanford. Your responses to the questions are uneducated, no response to the thousands of temperament out there, or the actual science of combining frequencies for an audible allusion. Adding color to this? People started doing this to harpsichords in the 17th century, go read the first few chapters in Newton's Optiks, he puts light frequency to tone frequency. Or the 4 organs made to produce tone-light in between 1850 and 1930. Please educate yourself before trying to educate others :)

I Love it

Beautiful work of art! The color the sound and the idea behind it! Bravo! Please don't do like some of these other developers do. They try to improve on their graphics and end up screwing up the colors and making them look like crap. Trust me, it's good.

Sad

: ?

There's no sound at all.

Hmmm.

Tough to rate. App itself is beautifully implemented, but content is completely arbitrary and baffling (I'm a pro classical musician). Dev calls the content "radical" and "a quantum leap." :/ I think this app's only practical usefulness is to illustrate how interesting Shepard tones are (which it does very well). If you're a beginning musician, please be aware this app shows one person's completely non-standard novelty system that will not let you communicate with other musicians.

Wonderfully Intriguing

Pleasing on the ears and eyes, this well put together little app is curiosity-inducing and sure to make you think a bit if you have any musical inclinations. Good luck and keep up the great work, Pi!

Amazing

Reminds me of Edward Maryon's Marcotone system.

I love this app!

Thank you for making this app free! I use this app to train my voice . I think it's a lot easier to hit circles than rectangular piano keys on the iPad. I will definitely check out other apps by this developer!
