Excellent, but...

I'd like to see a few changes. I like the visual style, but the arrangement makes it difficult to be accurate. I think multi-touch support and ability to save songs would add longevity to the app even for the musically disinclined, like myself. Thanks for making it and for making it free.

Ok

The app looks great, and demonstrates the Shepard tone beautifully, but there two flaws that I noticed. One is that you can still tell when one of the notes goes down, and it is quite baffling when you try to play music because the notes are in a circle, and because you changes the letters. Still a good app though.

great idea!!!

i think it should have wifi midi like many other iOS musical instruments so that the shepard tones can be recorded on music software. i'll give it five stars then.

no sound

I also can't get the sound to work, but a neat idea for an app.

Great app, Long overdue!

I've wanted something like this that pairs colors with notes - not sure that the notes & colors have same frequency/wavelength/vibrational that I imagined but this is a good start! Could use some finesse, but the potential is there for something awesome!

Brain candy

I'm a violinist and I was like a cat with a new toy with this app... I was mind blown before I read this and figured out that each one is all frequencies of the note. But I didn't know what it was for at the time. I actually lost this app and forgot about it when I had to completely erase my ipod when it glitched, but I was just playing my violin and discovered that pitches were less frustrating and more recognizable when played in octaves... It took away the relative pitches screwing up the next note when I played the same note from two different octaves and it suddenly reminded me of this app and suddenly I understood the brilliance of this thing. Thanks so much! And ignore the rude know-it-alls!
